    Yep as above really. All depends what server control features you have from your provider. Its not uncommon for server admins to use the power of the dark side to control their servers, as the official dayz server admin tools are non existant. There is a new tool recently developed called Silent Warrior admin tool. It has very good features like live player monitoring and tracking, teleporting players (useful for when someone is stuck 40km off map I debug or when a hacker teleports everyone miles out to sea). It does require full database access though so this will be the key factor in whether or jot you can use it.

    I set the config to remove the dots and it worked for the first time. But when the server restarted it put the dots back on even tho the setting still were set to have the dots off. The only way I can see to remove the dots is by setting the difficulty to Mercenary but then thay forces 3rd person view off. If you know of a way to remove the dots pls let me know!

    Not being funny trichome... but sometimes it can take an hour to identify a cheater that is using a good bypass.

    I know of quite a few people who stopped playing because of the hackers. Hopefuly our server will bring you back to this great game :-P
