And you can build a base up north with alot less chance of it being raided 5 times a day. The one i play on never has hackers (although i think the admin clan hacks alot) but they dont abuse other players... For the most part. That said the chances of being ghosted are close to zero.

So this happened about 3 days ago. I was about to leave elecktro via sniper hill i turned around and what did i see? A huey parked on top of the hospital!!! It was about 2am game time and there was only about 3 ppl on the server so i decided to fix it up and move it somewhere for the rest of my gang. I managed to find 2 rotors O.o but no other parts and in the process i fell off the hospital, got stuck in a door and hit by zeds. So now i'm on 1200 blood, passing out whenever i move (no state to be fixing a chopper) Luckily 2 more of my buddies logged onto ts. One of em was in a pbx scourung the coast for parts while our pilot was close to elecktro and coming to give me a transfuse. I positioned myself on the very top roof of the hospital where i could watch over my prize and pass out without fear (i had a ak kobra with 6 mags) ready to defend it from any would be bandit. My transfuse was in the church when all of the sudden a survivor appears on the roof. A quick 'is that you?' over ts and i took aim and blew his head off, but he'd already managed to get into the chopper and start it up. He fell of the roof. Dead, but now i had a half fixed chopper revving up that i had to stop! I got down the ladder only to be knocked out by the now full blast chopper doing a slow 360 on the roof! I managed to get in as the pilot with the plan of shutting it down but as soon as i got in the chopper flew off the roof and blew up killing me... In the end it really was a laugh as my buddy pretty much came round the corner to see a huey banking off the roof then BOOM... My first dayz huey flight. This is my story :)

No they do spawn on the hospital afaik. One spawned on cherno hospital the day before, but thats a story for another time lol...

NOTE: This is my guide on how to play DayZ the "right" way So I now have a DMR with about 20 mags... I'm going to sit on the hill in a tree for the next 10 hours and shoot anyone I see, regardless. I hope you enjoy playing DayZ. ~Sol Don't take advise from this man!

The subject of this thread is not a valid descrption of the community as a whole. The only REAL downside to hackers is it may give rocket skewed data to use while developing his standalone game.

Just bad luck. I've had much the same but then i got a night vision fn fal, a dmr and a normal fn fal from a heli crash site. With all the server hoppers its hard to get any loot from nwaf or stary so i play on a private hive...

I failed to find the sus behavior there? You left a chopper anywhere on the map in a public server and logged, someone stole it. That's about as common as an empty tin can. The disconnects are also common
