Oh mate I hope my connection is that good, I only tried joining a couple yank servers and I had pretty bad connection. Some servers kick me for being over 150L as well. I'll go give it a go! cheers ;)

That's a damn shame. In that case Aussies need to create more servers, 8-10 is not enough, they are constantly FULL! :-[

Well I hope your right FrostDMG, I can wait for the full game if their is going to be Single Player.

I think this game would still benefit from and offline/single player mode. There are many countries including mine (Australia) that just DON'T have enough servers for its players. I love the game but I am rarely able to join a server due to the servers already being filled. I have about 6-8 servers to choose from on a good day but as I said, already full and that's 50/50 players. I read about an offline single player mode that was just selected in the Mission select and the save was located in your ARMA 2 profile save folder. When I last mentioned this players were telling me that people were using SP to their advantage on MP by gathering loot offline and then going online with it. How does that work seeing as the save directory for DayZ is on their online database and the single player is offline and in your folder as I mention? People than say that the offline mode would be shocking because 0 other players would be on it with you. Honestly I don't think many people would care because lets face it, bandits are incredibly annoying. I can't stand playing for hours and getting great loot to than get shot in the back by someone I couldn't even see. Infected should be the main enemy in my opinion, not other players. A single player version/mode would be great in my opinion.

I love this mod. Unfortunately for me Australia doesn't have enough servers for me and others alike to play on. I think its about 10 servers most of the time, and NZ has about 5-8 at the moment anyway. I heard there WAS a single player but it got taken down for a few reasons. Single player would be great, many people could just play at any time of the day + no connection issues or long waiting periods and NO annoying bandits. Someone mentioned that the single player was taken away because people were getting loot in SG and than taking it to MP. I didn't understand how they could do this seeing as the Single player save file is located on your computer in the ARMA 2 profiles/saves destination and the multi player saves are located on DayZ's online database from what I've read. I just think a SP mode would be great for many people and still help improve DayZ. Maybe in the near future they will release one, for now ill play Red Orchestra 2 and pretend that the Germans are very smart infected with guns.

I am fairly new to this game and its mod, at this moment I am LOVING this mod it is great. I have posted threads before about making a single player option for myself and those who hate playing with 49 other people that are bandits. I just thought.. this isn't an OLD OLD game.. it should have a friendly fire option surely. If it does could the mod bring this into the game and allow some servers to have friendly fire off, meaning all survivors in the server cannot shoot eachother, No Bandits! I would love that.

Well so far some good feedback, but for those of you that are saying "COME ON MANNNN, WHATS THE POINT OF SINGLE PLAYER MANNN?!!?". Like I stated in the first post. "I am just really sick of playing hours on end finding great loot, working hard to find bigger backpacks and food, tools and so on only to get shot in the back by some fucking arse hole." Not everyone has FUN on PvP games. If its a FPS in my opinion BRING IT ON! they are great, Red Orchestra 2 for example, awesome and I can see how people love pvp in this. But i DONT, it ruins the game completely for me. Like i said, i would like to be able to run around being worried about infected rather than 49 other players on the same server with guns who will shoot you on sight JUST CAUS... Atleast they could bring out a Friendly Fire server option, that way it would be teamwork and not have to worry about making an offline mode. There are many people who would like this not everyone is into PvP.

I found alot of people talking about a Single player mode for this, they had the download and everything but you had to have an older version of DayZ, it was like 1.5 or something. I cannot find that version anywhere online so i cannot play. I LOVE this game but i am just sick of spending hours online when servers are low so there is less chance of a random shit dick shooting me in the back while im in gear. I have never been killed by a zombie, it has always been a person which is quite annoying because the main enemy are the infected. This would be much more enjoyable if you could release a SP download. Its frustrating and making the game less enjoyable when you spend over 10 hours finding all the tools like, map, knife, hatchet, toolbox, binocs and than getting shot in the back by someone

This might be a stupid as i dont know how this mod would work BUT. Couldnt there be a way to play this game offline through single player? like a full download or something? I would love to run around on this game without the constant fear of seeing other players and having to log out when I see one. I have had 4 encounters with other players. 3 times I was shot in the back without even seeing them, the 4th i saw him first so i shot over the top of his head to scare him off. I want single player, this would be the best game if it was.

Oh mannn. I am fairly new to this mod, so far so bloody awesome. How ever I get killed by other players/ or so called bandits more often than infected. I get really frustrated playing this game for hours on end, finding sweet weapons, food, drinks, map, watch, toolbox, running for hours, killing hundreds of infected, than all of a sudden I turn my back and BAM! some wanker shoots me from no where. I will not result to 'shooting on sight' because of this. There are infected, shouldnt we be shooting them and not eachother??? I would love PVP to just be rid of. Friendly Fire OFF! PLEASE!
