#LOTC's Official DayZ Server Running like a charm for the last 6-10 hours.

Aw, I'm kinda jelly. Got a double today and a third one later on but had to dc as the third one had 4 fully op equipped mates. Your story sounds like alot of action but fun with nice loot. Lucky for you, hope you can keep the stuff and get lucky ;) Try to get to stary sober military base to finish your gear maybe, you have a 100% chance for guns there.

God I really need a small group to join, Looting the military base in stary or the NW airfield on a rather full server at daytime is a 50 percent chance of suicide. So many players there.

So you can get the sd m4 and the nvg's in the barracks at the airfield?

Died thanks to those great hackers who ddos'd the dayz servers. Respawned in cherno, went into firewatch found an m4a1 with 1 mag, went into the shop, saw another player, bam down, his fully equipped mate shot me, shot him down aswell, the first one insta-dissapeared but I could loot the second one, 2 m4 mags, revolver with ammo, all the map/watch etc stuff, food and water and even 1 morphine and blood bag, everyone in cherno was shooting me couldn't loot the shop just left and ran away. Went to meet up my 2 beginner mates in electro, found a pig on the way and thanks to the loot of that guy got everything to get 4 meat stakes. Hit my mates up in elektro and we looted us medic stuff, they had both ak's and m1911's and we had food/water in masses. Went to hit stary sober but at the factory/second firewatch at the end of electro i saw a player moving, killed him with 3 headshots, there were more, one of my mates got killed we saw 4 other people in that firewatch, the other 2 of us logged out. Man got M4 with like 6 mags, revolver with 6 mags, blood, morhpine stakes, water oh man and that all in minimum time Actually only want to keep on playing if I actually find a group to join, too risky atm. Got 1 bandit kill of one of the guys in the shop, 2 murders (soz but everyone else would have shot aswell thanks to no global chat) Was the only working server during the ddos attacks. Just so you know why im so happy about this, i just started the game and only once had an ak, so I'm pretty happy about my 1v2 and the longrange kill in the firewatch. And just incase you wanna call me a combat logger, I was out of sight, my mate got killed and my other mate was tagged and combatlogged, i stood there for good 4 minutes and checked if I could see something but it was pointless, they were 3 fully equipped guys left and i was alone so I just logged off aswell.

IMO one thing about the game will never change, if you are somewhere in close range to another person, you shoot. If you are somewhere save and just watching a guy in the distance and global chat is on, I personally would ask if hes friendly and if he is not looting what I want to loot I'm gonna let him go. But im not getting near him and trust him, had bad experiences with that. The only guys you can trust are your direct mates or groups you join and you are in voice with etc. Sad but true

Spawned and before I even saw anything "You were dead". Great job Ddos'ers. I actually really like the idea that they put up patch 1.7.2 and make a clean swipe with that and all players have to start over so not only a few lost their stuff, unless you can set back a character for like 12 hours or something like that

In my personal opinion the removal of the global chat was a huge mistake. I just shot a guy at Stary Military Camp just because he had a gun and I couldn't know if he was friendly or not, of if he would shoot me if I would get close. Sure I could just get him along but somehow this is not the point of the game, there's always a chance that he saw the light dot and follows me. I'm not a Bandit, im happy if nobody shoots me and im just alive with a gun. But thanks to not beeing able to ask if he is friendly or not everyone is just going bandit mode. Really was a bad move in MY PERSONAL OPINION, maybe other people see this different but imo this just invites too much for beeing a bandit. /discuss

You just made my point, my problem is that I kinda got forced to shoot him just because I was scared that he would shoot me if I wouldn't do it first. I couldn't ask if the guy at the camp was friendly or not. With global chat I could have asked and if he would have not replied I would have had no guilty due to killing him. Like i said IMO it was a bad move.

I am playing Dayz since yesterday. After a rough 3 hours start where I learned that I'm a mega noob as I don't know where to find good stuff etc I finally gatherd some med supplies food, a winchester and a revolver, But I don't want to lose all my stuff (Like map, binoc's, matches knife etc) so I want to play in a Group. I'm on 200 zombie kills and 0 murders and 0 bandit kills. I'm friendly and don't shoot anyone if he isn't trying to kill me. I'm 20, have a Mic and a TS3 Server and I really need a group to play with. My Steam is either StanYz or stanbeccer I never know if you can add me with my nick or my id name :S

Yo waddap guys, My name is Stan, I am from Austria and I just started DayZ, after alot of trouble to go through I found some fun in the game but I definitely need someone to play with. Only problem is that I'm currently pinned down and would need one morphine injection as I am laying on the ground at the Scrapyard in Berezino, there is a hospital nearby (I think) but I'm too much of a noob to get there with a makarov with low ammo, low blood and broken legs. The players I want to play with can either be talking german or english I don't really care which one of them, just be a nice group of players which you can have some fun with but also be serious ;) I'm 20 btw. XF, skype, ts3 everything no problem, even got my own ts3 server.

Well if he is not alive anymore I AM AND I NEED MORPH I'm currently logged out as my legs are broken and I'm on low blood, I'm close to a hospital (i think) but i can't get there like that. I just started DayZ and i finally found a makarov and a map and food and I don't want to lose all of that, can someone help me out with some morphium? :D I'm at the scrapyard in Berezino, also just tell me which server I'll join.
