M14 AIM is the name of the gun in the Game so don't worry. You should try to keep it though, This gun gives me goosebumps everytime I got it. If you hit your enemie in the chest is instant unconscious and you can finish him off easily, bullet drop is non existent till +500m, it may be loud, but the sound is so sweed and powerful. Also you find tons of ammo when looting deerstands or different forms of military loot places, IMO its defo one of the best guns in the game.

+1 to this, remove it, its just beeing used to block all the loot buildings or to piss other people off.

How come such a large number of Americans call it zAmbies?!?! I mean there is no freaking A in the word ZOMBIE so why would you go full retard mode and call it Zambie? Well I've heard people calling them zambies for quite a long time now, but since I started watching DayZ streams when my group is off and when I'm in CBA mode to play lone wolf, I hear more and more people calling them Zambies and its starting to piss me off, because lets be honest, they don't say it like a joke, they seem to really think that its pronounced that way, atleast some of them. And don't ask me why it pisses me off, it just does lol

Well its kinda unrealistic that the sub sonic ammunition is working without any trouble in the regular m4's, while you can't even use super sonic bullets in the SD m4's. You CAN use super and sub sonic ammunition for both guns TECHNICALLY, keep in mind that subsonic ammo will often cause your bolt to not go back all the way so you gonna have to manually pull the bolt back to get the next bullet out of the clip. And supersonic ammo works with an SD rifle, but it will be loud and not really silenced.

I'm 20 and got quite some experience in dayz, only question, how many are you planning to be when you are playing, I'm not interested in playing in like 10+ groups as the only thing that this gives you is fucking communication problems.

Well IMO as long as you don't see who killed you, its impossible to tell who a hacker might be.

The barb wire is only beeing used to block the main loot buildings in cherno/electro so freshly spawned guys can't get any loot. Not really used for anything else and entranching tools are not easy to find haha in 1 month of playing I found one in stairy and one in balota airfield. IMO its really just something thats beeing used for crap rather than actually having a real use. Removing that would actually be a good move, what do you guys think?

Long story short, bud of mine and me spawned in Solnichi and went to Berezino, then checked out NEAF because we have never been there (no we don't play DayZ for a long time) Now we are up there and didn't find anything really good and now we want to get back to balota airfield where our 2 mates logged out so we need a pickup in NEAF in the first hangar (Hanger - Hangar - Radio tower) Here's a screen of our current location and equipment: All I could spare as a reward is a bloodpack or a morph-injector, or maybe some food/water, I don't really have anything but that :D I can join your voice if that helps in trusting us, we just need a lift from NEAF to balota airstrip, would be pretty nice if someone could hook us up.

A mate of mine and me need a pickup in NE Airfield to Balota Airfield. Reward? I donno we don't really have anything fancy I have an M4A1 and my mate has got an AKM xD I could spare a blood pack or a morphium or some food/ something to drink. And a hug ofcourse. How can you trust us? I donno you can just trust my word that in situations like that im definitely not a bandit as this would be just a desperate act of a child. Well I have a map, a weapon, a backpack and a gun, all I want is to meet the rest of my guys again as I don't like playing alone, and allthough we are 2 right here atm, we want to play with our 2 buds who are in balota -.- Thats our current status, we ain't fucking snipers we are just 2 dudes who need a pickup to play with theird buds -.-

We've been playing all night and right now we just can't be bothered to run fucking half an hour through the woods and might even get lost, I got a map but no compass -.- Well I would post a screen of my and my mates loadout so you would fucking see that we ain't sniping and we just started but I can't make any ingame screenshots as my steam ingame doesn't work and I don't know a different way of taking screenies in Dayz. You know theres still some people out there who just need a ride when they ask for one. We are in the left hangar (hangar - hangar - radio tower) and are waiting for somebody who is nice enough to pick us up, if you drive in there no sniper can kill you so that is ruled out. You experienced Bandits out there surely can answer my question. Where do you get NVG's? Or where do you get op stuff like guille suits or m4a1 sd + red dot? Or as50's

So, my idea is pretty simple and I think this would really be a nice little feature. Change the mod in such a way, that the guid is not linked to a character, but to a profile, and on this profile you can have like 2-3 or more characters, the number should be little so the trolling wouldn't get too much. But imo that would really be a nice idea, so you can have like your main character with your good equipment that you only play with if you play with your team or something similar and the other one is for casual playing with buds. What do you guys think?

MOST FUCKING INTENSIVE MOMENT OF MY LIFE OFMG. I was on low blood on the hill above the military camp in Stary Sober, luckily one of my mates was already heading to me and soon arrived and provided me with a blood transfusion. Fit like never before we went into the camp and loot but weren't able to as we suddenly got eyes on 2 enemies passing the supermarket in the city, we head over to a better position and i get a good 5 shots on one of them (the server was lagging hard so not sure if it really hit him), they went into the market and camped. Couple of minutes later 2 smoke grenades on the right side of the shop, they head out run from house to house, one is tagged by a zombie and falls, seems like I fucked him up hard with my m16, the second one is running west, I just knew he wanted to flank us and so I countered that and after a mag of lagging he went down. We proceeded to the camp where we heard alot of what sounded like DMR shots, 2 dead bodies, no sign of the shooter, SNAP SNAP 2 shots hit me and my mate good but we got away, we checked to see anything but the hill where he was (opposite of the hille behind the camp in north direction) was clear, seemed like he was gone, then suddenly 10 minutes later a player passes by, SNAP 2 shots in the back and hes down, bandit kill so it was okay, he had a m107 on him BINGO, I put it in my back and retrieve then the server crashes. Back in my m107 is gone, fuck you server, just fuck you, suddelny my second mate arrives and as we proceeded to head to the camp we spot an enemy group of three heading towords us from what I think had to be devils castle, everybody lays down, nothing happens for 5 minutes. I decide to flank them and suddenly spot a 4th player heading their way and I get behind a tree and decide to see whats happening, AK shots, 2 enemies down it were 2 of the 3 that we saw earlier, I decide to take the risk and go in, I get the one the shot the others down. We see where the last one headed but couldn't shoot him over that distance, we stayed there and looted the bodies, suddenly one of my mates bam down, second one down, I look down and see the guy went to another server, ran here, and came back and reconnected right below me, headshot down, now on 3 bandit kills and 3 murders. I go to the second hill on the west side of stairy and meet up my 3rd mate who is equipped with an ak and some meat and we decide that he gives cover and I give it a shot and loot the camp, after the server crashed again the tents are empty and the loot disapeared, great, suddenly SNAP my mate down someone from behind shot him, I run for my life out of the camp to a secure location on a hill north east of the camp, stay there for 5 minutes but the enemies which seemed to be equipped with an AS50 didnt proceed into the camp ore towards me, I, mentally broken after all that action decide to give it a rest and just log out as my heart was pounding with 180 beats per second for about 1 1/2 hours (thats how long this intense moment lasted) and went down for a cool coke as I felt like this moment lasted for a week without any breaks. It was so unbelievable you feel even though you know its a game. So sick. 4 murders 4 bandit kills right now and still alive ;)

I kill on sight if someone has a gun, simply don't want to take the risk of him shooting me. If he has some nice stuff I'll take it, but if its as little as a Lee enfield or just a makarov in his hands, I shoot if I get a clean shot at thim, though i don't take the loot. Better save than sorry.

4 Murders 1 Bandit kill right now. After beeing betrayed too much and 99% bad experiences I got a cold blooded shoot on sight bandit and I'm not even sorry about it, its DayZ that changes you.

Erm, here is how my situation was: We were sitting in the grass, enemies didnt write if friendly or not after connecting them. Shot one of them down, I went to the next building behind the wall to get out of open field, my mates just sat there (they were playing dayz for like 1 hour, i for like 4 days). One of them got shot - headshot dead. The other one got tagged and insta-dc'ed, I continued to stay at the building and tried to get a shot against one of them but only saw guns around corners in the firewatch tower and I realized that there were actually 4 fucking fully armed guys left and I didn't want to go on playing at that moment anyway so I thought might aswell just quit, w/e. Sue me but theres so many people combatlogging and even repositioning and flanking with different server joining etc, you really wana tell me that what I dead was a deathsin? SURE...

Quick question right here. Is it possible to somehow refill your mags with different low ammo mags? So like combining 2 nearly empty m4 mags to one single mag?
