I only got teleported once. Far more often see players godmoding, spawning cars, and running around without building/tree textures, thats what really pisses me off. Its not gonna happen in dayzmod, but when dayz goes standalone it needs an AC tool like wire, which works basically like a driver and not only scans all your files including the textures so you can't change/modify anything there, but also checks which programs are running and which are affecting dayz and which bans every single violation.

Hey, I can't intstall my beta patch manually, I always have to do it with sixlauncher. If I try to update manually, I get an error message that arma2 is not installed, which it ofc is. I'm using the steam version. Any Ideas how to fix/change this? --waddap

Oh, nvm due to me using the steam AND retail version of Arma2 I had some registry path's wrong, just had to change these now its working again ;) BB sixlauncher

In the beginning I was able to see possible Crash Sites on that map, but now I can't see them anymore. A few of my mates seem to still see them though. Any idea whats going on? :D

I just hate the fact that admins on alot of custom hive servers just give themselfes every single item in the game and just spawn all the vehicles how they want them to.

Characters are bound to ck-keys. What you have to do in order to use 2 different characters on 1 pc is actually pretty simple. 1) Install your entire game, patch it etc, don't for get to run both games seperately as administrator (very important) 2) go to your regedit.exe 3) Go to Bohemia interactive, click on Operation arrowhead, you will see your encrypted cd-key in blue, just right click on OA and press export, then export it f.e. to your desktop with some random name, i chose Key-1 4) Completely uninstall everything, install your brothers copy with his Steam Account and again don't forget to launch both Arma 2 and OA seperately. 5) They key in your OA folder in your regedit should now be a different one, simply export that to your desktop again with a name like "Key-2" You now simply double click the key you want to use and then launch your game as usual with sixlauncher or per shortcut, doesn't matter, you also don't have to use different steam accounts, infact steam can be turned off in order to play dayz and to change characters. You can also simply copy your key to an usb stick and therefor hide it from your brother, but when you finished playing you gonna have to click his key so the key changes to his again.

Dude, no, just ... no. Theres a billion of tutorials how to install the mod, even on this website, and you didn't even make the effort to just follow the download dayz link on the main page. You have to have them in your inventory and then just scroll with your mousewheel, it will say something like reload m1014 pellets or slugs. Works for m9/m9sd mags or m4/m4sd mags the same way, or the as50 etc

Lost like 20 Backpacks already due to the automatic bandit morphing. Happened in the past dayz, now happens on lingor island, better not bring that shit back into dayz. Was a coyote nearly every time just btw

Every single player realizes this after playing for 2 days, welcome to the club, a little late but well.. Without this btw the game wouldn't be this much fun, if you think about it all you can do is agree, ofc you can argue that its too much but thats not the point.

Seen this more than one time lately, script users can spawn this entrance building and a few other buildings from the regular arma2 game into dayz WCYD

On DE7 is a possible cheater camp, there's basically every single car in the game in krutoy cap right next to the lighthouse with about 100 tank traps and wire fences around it, the guys camping it are using what looked like an AS50 TWS over distance and none of the cars is beeing used the just camp the spot and seem to have an infinite supply of tank traps and wire fences (not in the cars and tents, we checked multiple times) After we went in for the last time yesterday I shot one of the guys in the face 3 times with my m14 AIM, he didn't care and just oneshotted me with his as50. afterwards my mate shot him again, then took cover behind a rock suddenly a player teleports behind him with an m4a1 cco sd. There's basically no way they were not cheating, the teleporting guy at the end settled it. Seems like there is a second camp near Kamenka on this server which appears to be legit, but those guys at krutoy cap are blatent hackers.

go somewhere, hit g, then pitch tent, doesn't work, don't close inventory, just hit s so you make a little step back, pitch tent, repeat until it works
