Ok, so I have been seeing this alot in the pst few dayz (ikr, bad pun !) and I feel really sorry for people who just don't think it through ... So here are 2 tips, one for the Survivors and one for the Bandits who lay the trap. @ Survivors: A tent is usually something good for you, as I believe most survivors get their gear by Looting and well, when you spot a tent, it's bliss in your pants. However, as said above, I see more and more bandits planting tents, not to stock loot, but as traps. So my tip for the survivors when encountering a non consealed tent, is to actually sprint up to it, maintain "Alt" and look at the tent when running past it. If you see a logo of a weapon and what appears to be 3 mags below it, appear, the tent is empty, so continue sprinting and gtfo of the area. A sprinting target, (althought not for an experienced sniper) will be a harder target to hit. Zig Zag when you sprint out of the zone. Edit: There is usually no point in zig zaging when going towards the tent, as anyone with a brain will rather shoot once you are at the tent looting it ... @ Bandits: Wtf are you thinking ? An empty Tent = trap ? NO ! Drop an empty tin inside ... anyone with a little bit of experience will notice it's empty and gtfo of the zone, you are only fooling the nubz, not the people you are actually trying to get loot from. So drop an empty tin, or anything you don't necessarly need inside of it. And also, don't camp the tent in the obvious high overlook position, it's way too obvious. Just my 2 cents.

Are Bear traps "that" visible ?

I heard beartraps are practically useless ... But it would be a viable tool associated with the lure that is a tent ... as running by the tent will trigger the traps and slow the retreat :P thx, I will now start looking for traps xD

Well, this is what I carry, when I consider myself "Geared Up" (In other words, when I have everything I want) Primary: - M24 Backup: - FN FAL or - M4A3 CCO SD Secondary: - M1911 Inventory Gear: - Ghillie Suit - Alice Pack - Range Finders - Night Vision Googles - 4x Bandages - 4x Secondary Ammo - 3x Primary Ammo - 3x Cooked Meat - 2x Water Canteen - 1x Grenade - 1x Smoke - 1x Flares Leaving "1 Free Slot" to transfer stuff from my backpack to my inventory and vice versa if needed. Also to pick up cans of food and soda to drink and eat them on spot, so that I avoid taping into my reserves. Alice Pack Gear: - Backup Weapon (10 Slots) - 3x Backup Weapon Ammo - 2x Morphine - 2x Painkillers - 1x Blood Bag (Or 2x Blood Bag and no Epipen, depends if I am playing with my Team or not) - 1x Epipen - 1x DMR Mag (Extra Ammo for the M24 if I ever fall short on ammo) Belt Tools: (The only Belt Tools I actually ever need are these ones) - Map - Axe - Compas (Spotter-Shooter Tactic) - Combat Knife - Box of Matches

I am currently using 304.79 Is that an issue ? (Deffective driver ?)

Pine Trees ... run through them. It cuts the line of sight, just don't forget to not continue running after, or thay will re agro ^^

Ok, so I am counter sniping at Electro and twice in a row the game jst shuts down and sends me back to desktop ... and there is no error message what so ever ... I checked in DayZ Commander if I was running the same files as the server, and I am. Recording I get a steady 90 Fps, and not recording I get an average steady 120 Fps. Server: DE 1637 Is this happening to anyone else ? Is there a way to fix it ?

Seems like yes ... but on my own server I can record without any problems. It's really strange.

Where can I find that line ? What File and where is the file ?

Thanks ^^ I made the video and currently have more info to add about the map. Someone pointed out that if thay are on a Server that does not allow Waypoints (I quote his words) "the tutorial is rendered useless" ... NO it is not, so I will be remaking the tutorial and include all the info for servers that don't allow waypoints. Thanks for the support ^^

I am not duping at all, I actually use my tent only to stock up on Food and Water and it's not far from my sniping nest (792m from Center of Stary Sobor) But what's the point of having tents if the items I put in them, continuously dissapear ? Yeah, stuff randomly dissapears, and the tent is really well hidden, so no one has found it, I am 100% about that. And YES, I save the tent (many times) when ever I look inside, I always save once done (again many times) So, WHY ? Why does stuff still dissapear ? (And no I am also NOT restarting the Server ...) Are the Tents still glitched ?

Ok, So I understand that as I am using Six Launcher, I needed to manually update to "1.7.2.5" ... so I did, replacing the files in "@DayZ > Addons" ... But when I launch Six Launcher, I am forced to "Verify" ... and it automatically downloads and rolls back to "1.7.2.4". So atm I am forced to - Open Six Launcher - Update (Verify) - Then manually replace the files And that each time, therefor I open Six Launcher, do the process, and never close it till I go to bed. Just to avoid doing all that again. Might be that I am just stupid, but is there a launcher that does not force you to go through any of this ?
