Full eP Squad, just raided Stary ... we went into the bushes to set our next "mission" ... The epic part was not really my death ... We were in the bushes, suddenly I hear 1 single gun shot, a CZ 550, from my 4' ... I drop dead on spot, it was a headshot. Suddenly on TS I hear all the stress "P5ykoO down !!! shit we are getting engaged !!!" "where is he !!!" ... so much stress going on in TS ... and I did not even have time to get stressed, I was calm as shit with everyone stressing around me ... It was like one of those epic battle moments where you see chaos around the actor, explosions and all, yet he is calm (deaf because of the nearby blast) contemplating the chaos around him. A heart beat. " You are dead " screen ... ... My voice on TS: " Now I am a bandit " ... Total silence. Now that was my most epic moment / death.

Very true, altho I was refering to the athmosphere that it implies ... kill to live, kill to survive. If we could "gut players" it would be really awsome, that way Rocket could add the "Humanity" again ... cause killing someone is one thing, eating that same person is another. And I think it would bring much more depth to the game. It would also give more "use" for the antibiotics ... as eating human flesh would make you sick, and make you get hungry faster ...

The bandit skin was not really a "good idea" ... it took away the "immersion" factor. As when you came across a player with the bandit skin, you knew that he was a clear threat, and therefor engaged him, therefor siding Survivors and Bandits in 2 clear and seperate sides. As now with no bandit skin, you never know if the other player is a bandit or not, it builds stress, tension ... not knowing if you should engage, and become a bandit yourself or leave him and risk getting killed cause he was a bandit. It's much better now. EDIT: I am a bandit myself ... I roleplay as the "bad guy", cause it is more fun. But I don't engage unarmed players ...

Imgine yourself in a Real Life Zapocalypse ... Now, you are a lone survivor, looting to survive, have a decent weapon ... you fear for your life, as you only got one. You come across a "squad" of survivors ... what to do ? - Stalk them, see if thay are friendly or not and risk getting spotted ? - Run away from them, avoid any risk ? - Thay have something you want, need ... thay don't seem to be well armed, so you rob them ? - You just got out of a gun fight with people trying to rob, kill you ... do not wish to take any risk, so take advantage of the surprise and kill them ? "The Road" is a very good example of what an apocalupe type scenario could be like, where people kill others to survive (!!! Spoiler !!! remember that scene where a groupe of "bandits" kill a girl running thue a field to eat her ?) This is what's so cool about the game, the amount of possibilities you have at your disposal. And believe it or not, in real life, a man will kill another just to make sure he survives another day(z) ... So yeah, I ersonally consider anyone with a gun as a threat, so I kill them ... (Also mainly cause I have this bad habbit of not carring food on me xD) I am a role player. And if my lack of steath gets me spotted, I accept my faith and defend my life like a man, I pitty those who Alt+F4, as thay are truly missing the purpous of this game, and therefor missing all the fun it has to offer. Cause there is nothing better than the adrenaline rush. It's a Hardcore drug, that I am a happy slave of. :P

Also guys, if you notice something "wrong", never forget to make a ticket to tell Jonnerz ... Good feedback can only make the service better !!!

A few DayZ ago. (Bad pun intended) Yes, there have been problems, each of which I have notified them of, and each one of them was solved under 24h (usually within 6 to 8 hours from creation of the ticket). The guys at the customer service are really great, you get an answer really fast, and I mean really fast ... there are some customer services that I am still waiting to hear from after 10 years. My Server has no Lag at all, sure you need to select where you get it, mine is hosted in Germany as I live in France and play with people from England. I also got a "Max Ping 100", so that people with rotten connexions do not pull the server down ... Don't forget, too many people with bad ping, will make your server lag ... been experiencing this since Cs 1.6. So if your server lags, make sure you are not letting too many high ping players on it. Now believe me, I have been hosting / owner of many servers, for more than 10 years now. (Cs 1.6 / Css ... games where fast response if crutial, I am an ESL player) And I honnestly know when a host is good, and guess what ? Host Altitude is one of those awsome hosts. Now for those complaining about the limitations, well ... the game devs have imposed those limitations ... so it ain't the fault of the host. But BEC will help expand the possibilities of access to your server, it's a bitch to get configured, but hell yeah !!! Believe me if you want, I am a satisfied customer, that's all I can tell you now. And to get satisfactions in todays world is, well, a pretty rare thing.

Current customer, proude server owner. I will add: - Exellent customer service, every issue I had, has been dealt with under 24h ... this is rare, so props to you guys. - Server is running smooth !!! I am running 100+ Fps in game, no stuttering, no lags due to the server, nothing, smooth as a babies ass - I informed them of some defects in the service, thay worked on it and it's all working perfectly now. Go ahead, don't hesitate in buying a server. You will not regret it.

If the wait is rewarded by a perm ban of the Abusers CD key, then I am ok to wait till a Dev reviews the evidence ... People who can't play the game without abusing it, don't deserve to play it at all. +1 to MarKeR You got my beans!

Does BEC give Server logs too ? I mean does it show who connected, and when thay disconnected and stuff ?

Thing is, if no Admins are allowed to enforce fair play (by banning DCers that thay whitness with their own eyes) then there is no point in even paying for a server so that the DCers can play for free ... You see the deal ? We, paying for a server so others can play for free, expect a little more gratitude ... if it wasn't for the Admins, there would not be as many servers, and thay would constantly be full. The Fleshy virus must get eradicated ... and Admins have the powers to help do it. So help us help you, and make an enjoyable place to play for all !!! Don't let a few bad apples ruin the good ones ... cause if you do, the good will also turn bad and start abusing.

I do not bend my own rules ... And will never do it. Don't want to be known as an abuser, and yes I record everything and upload. If requested by a dev or the person who got banned, I will list the video for them to see and prove I am not abusing. Thanks, best wishes to you aswell.

Then die cause the dude reconnects behind you ... meh Banned people will get unbanned once the "fix" will be set and is working ... till then, it's a ban from our server if you disconnect right in front of us while in combat ... Now don't take this out of context, We will only ban people who are clearly active in game and alt f4 the moment thay get shot. I understand that some people may be afk, and it can be a coincidnece if thay dissconnect when we decide to engage, those will have the benefice of doubt. But people who are running, moving, shooting at us ... and who Alt+F4 when we shoot them will get banned. The game is about Survival, and survival is not about being careless, running in the open (basically yelling "shoot me") and dissconnecting the moment someone shoots at them ... Be fair play and accept your faith / the concenquences of your lack of stealth. The game was not meant to be played that way and it has been stated as an exploit. And to be perfectly clear, we do not ban because someone "says" that someone dissconnected in front of them ... we will only ban if we are direct whitnesses of the abuse. We are always recording our encounters, and have the server logs as proof if need be. Have fun everyone, and be fair play.

Hey guys, I just downloaded the game yesterday night, installed it this morning ... so far I have a total of 30min life on my first character. I have not looked at any tutorials, I only have some experience in Arma 2 (been playing arma 2 for some time) So yeah, this is for those who think the game is "Too hard" / "unplayable". USE YOUR BRAIN, QUIT BEING ZOMBIES / SHEEP ... 1- Stealth The game is a simulation of what a Zombie Apocalypse could be like, people irl will kill you if thay have no other solution for their survival, so don't complain about people killing you. You have various stances, use them !!! Crouch walk & Prone are your best friends when you start unarmed. 2- Head for the city That is usually where you will find loads of "goodies". Yes it is where most people will be, so again, be stealthy !!! 3- Once you got your stuff, head north for the "real game" Not much to add, staying along the coast has really boored me. Now you might want to say "but I am unarmed and have no gear", well guess what I have been playing this mod for around 30-40 minutes (I am a "fresh noob") but I use my brain. I have noticed that my position is saved from server to server (unless I die, duh) So what does my brain tell me ? Simple, I have nothing, so I might aswell stack up on goodies that will allow me to travel and survive: - Spawn - Go to an "item spawn spot" (aka a house, a barne ... you name it) - Nothing on the floor ? - Disconnect, change server ... - Still nothing ? - Change server again !! - Wow you find stuff, take what you need - Disconnect, change server ... Etc ... do that till you have a decent Hand Gun / Rifle, ammo, food & drinks, medical supplies ... Then head north for the real stuff or what ever tickles your fancy. Video coming soon for the illiterate who can't understand. NOW QUIT COMPLAINING AND USE YOUR FRIGGING BRAINS !!! Sure this kinda takes the fun of scavenging and raiding away ... but it is for those who just can't quit complaining thay have "no way to survive" ... I am not encouraging this practice, as the game looses it's "survival" aspect ... anyway, cya on the servers.

Never said I was pro, this is for those who can't stop complaining that the game is too hard. Farming, whatever ... it's gathering the basics. Also, if I am not intrested in "strugeling" to find stuff at the start befor I can go north, that's really none of your buisness. I don't encourage this practise, but yeah. If someone does not want to spend time trying to find stuff, he should be able to do what he wants. Except hacing obviously.
