Ghillie suits are definately harder to spot in closer combats, I kill so many people whos just infront of me without even realizing im there... But like u say, from a distance it's easy to spot because u stand out on the grass terrain... but still harder to spot than civilian skin... I love Ghillie suits:P

Yes... a graphics card is absolutely necessary.... Sorry bud, think u need to invest some money for a decent graphic card.

Only played the latest 1.7.2.3 patch, didnt notice any desync, but I did however have an issue gutting animals where as the Meat doesnt appear. But read somewhere that other players (Not wearing Ghillie) had the same issue so it's not Ghillie suit related. I play on UK and SE servers with high population.

Seems like Ghillie suits are rare in this patch, better not die :P

All servers I've played has worked with my Ghillie suit...

I've keept my tents for 2-3 weeks since I started playing Dayz.... Although when u die u wont be able to pack them again, but they'll stay at the spot if you visit the tent regularly....

Hello, so I logged on today and noticed my Food meter was low, so I went off to kill an animal, but after I gutted it no meat appeared, I thought it might have been a one time bug, so I move on to other animals and the same happen there. So then I thought it must be a server issue, so I tried a couple of servers and the exact same thing happened there. I've posted this already in Bug Report section, but I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this since 1.7.2.3. I don't know if this matters, but I'm wearing a Guille suit. Maybe there is a bug related to the Guille suit and why the meat doesnt appear after gutting. I can't really play until they fixed this issue, I'm a sniper by heart, only go into small towns when it is essentially necessary.. But with this Meat Bug I'd have to spend my time in towns all the time to find food to survive..

No..... with that setup do NOT waste 25 bucks...

I succesfully managed to Gut an animal and recieve meat this time, maybe it's random. I was wearing the Ghillie.

I've tried what you said, I stayed at the animal trying to loot it until it's body disappeared. :/

Hi, so I was in Novy Sobor and found my first Bear Trap, I went to place it next to a deerstand close to Novy Sobor, all was good until I was trying to get away from the spot I placed my Bear trap.. Broke my leg trying to walk away from it, so I figured the trap is now used and I need to reset it, so I go and pick it up to place it even closer to the deerstand, only to find myself in the same situation above, again broken leg... thanks god I had two morphines, can anyone please tell me how to safely place a bear trap without losing your own legs?

This happens when a server is about to restart, but usually before every restart it saves your progress. But since patch 1.7.2 the servers has been shaky to say the least, like yesterday I lost 3 hours of playing because of a rollback. Me and my friend went up to explore north with our veichle, gathered tons of good supplies and everything was good, until the server restart... logged back in, our veichle was gone, all my items were gone, i spawned at the point me and my friend started. But today it's been better, so think the servers were stressed or something when they released 1.7.2 ... it should be okay now, or u could w8 for the hotfix patch 1.7.2.1

Same here, got it just now was playing a US server because well lets face it, night servers r unplayable without Nightvision goggles.. I recieved this message and can't join any servers now; "You were kicked off the game (BattlEye: Corrupted Memory #0)...

Hey, did they fix the Suit bug, where u lose all your stuff if you equip them? I found a Gille suit just now, and will hold on to it til someone confirm it's fixed or not. Thanks

thanks for the reply.. yeah same happened to me a few days ago, equiped my camo suit and lost everything, didnt get nothing back though.

I'm not impressed with this patch so far, seem to have brought TONS of bugs. Not to mention that the hive server seem to be messed up, me and my friend drove from Pusta to Devil's Castle, checking out deerstands, heli crashes and towns... 3 hours later, server restart, ok great. Logging on 5 minutes later only to find out I'm back to Pusta where we started, everything I looted is gone and the veichle we used is gone.. Not to mention the 2-3 hours of spent time doing that trip........ Aggro range is FAR too high, it was good before the patch.. With this Zombie Range you encourage tons of snipers in towns like Electro and Cherno, because we need to be stealther than ever, we basically need to crouch walk or prone through the entire city making us super easy targets, smart players will obviously don't give a damn about the zombies, and just run safely into a building to not risk getting shot.. I used to crouch run, crouch walk on occasion in cities. But NOT until they fix this....

Hi thanks for the reply, but the suit I found was called "Soldier Suit" it was a green camoflauged suit with a helmet... Ok thanks!!! so its 100% legit then! was worried for a minute!

Hi, so me and my friend lost everything inside our car and tents multiple times, we were loaded with some really good stuff... Why does this happen? we've tried to ALWAYS save the car/tent when putting/taking stuff from it, but that didnt work... so we now tried to only save the car/tent once whenever we move it, that didnt work either.. So what are we doing wrong? we lost tons of good weapons... Is it a known Alpha bug, or is it just the two of us having this annoying bug?

Nono, another survivor is very unlikely, this time only the car was swiped clean, the tent still had some stuff in it... And if there was another survivor he'd probably end up taking the whole car and the two bicycles.... oh well

Hi I logged on today only to find out that I was stuck in a place called Wilderness, theres nothing around me, I have some sick gear on me, I also lost a veichle in a town because of this, and a bike. How do I get out of Wilderness?

I managed to find Kamenka at 3 hours of running!!!!!!
