1. Morality has NOTHING to do with this. This is a game. These are not real people. You did not murder someone by killing their avatar. 2. Sometimes it's related to lag. I noticed a huge difference in zombie behavior during peak hours on the weekend and slow hours during the week, even on the same server. I've also noticed the zombies have super eyeballs whenever a yellow chain pops up.

3. Zigzag through a bunch of bushes or bushy trees. By the third or fourth one the zombies will have lost you. As for killing, run backwards, wait for zombies to stop, quickly take aim and shoot. You can stop completely and then aim or hold down shift to walk and then aim. Takes some practice but it's extremely effective if you absolutely need to kill the zombies because all the trees and bushes vanished for some reason.

Are you logging out immediately after picking them up? That's the best way to lose items.

Heh You should ask for help in one of the many helpful doctors thread. Reddit even has a brigade of people that can come save you. If I could remember any of their names I'd link you to them. Just use the forum search feature.

Hackers buying their hacks. Um, I bet there are sites selling the hacking tools but I'm pretty sure anyone who is willing to cheat is willing to download them for free.

Whose going to kill a fresh spawn now? You'd only be doing him a favor. Good choice on removal. I'm interested in seeing how this affects my clan and friends. It's going to change how a lot of people are playing. Such a small change with a massive impact. (hackers will still do what they want though... :( )

You're crying about a run from Cherno to Elektro? That run takes no time at all. If you stop and search everything it'll take a long time but that's the players choice. I'm more worried about spawning in Kemenka and my friends are in Solnichniy. Meh. I don't mind though. This is going to cut down on a lot of annoying behavior. Edit: I'd like to see a 1 hour server ban on death but that's probably just me. :)

I'm still learning how to play this game. Someone always has a bit of info that I knew nothing about. (like filling up the backpack on the ground before picking it up) The early days in game are usually the most frustrating but can also be the most fun. Don't take it too seriously and you'll have a blast while learning.

Definitely recommended. I hated moving my hand from my mouse just to talk.
