What? So either you confused your own story or this has happened to you twice. If it's happened to you twice in the same spot you're either bad at the game or you're the one server hopping. If you back was against the wall he wouldn't have been able to shoot you in the back. Just saying. You also have no proof it was a server hopper. Could have just been a guy who was logging in... like your buddy. -
I can see this being annoying for groups but I imagine it's a lot worse for alt-f4 cowards, server hoppers, and ghosts. I'm glad the spawning is slow. It's cut down on the worst elements in the game. I'm alright if they want to make it even longer.

I actually bind everything to one key so I have to change it every time I need to do anything. This game was too easy otherwise. I think OP does the same thing as it's obvious he had to change the key so he could run away from the zombies.

I like to change my controls and options when zombies are eating me too. It makes the game much more hardcore.

That thing is loud enough and there are more ways to see at night than just nightvision. No matter what, you shouldn't stop in the middle of a field for any reason unless you're the only person on the server and the server is locked. You were also near one of the most trafficked areas of the map and it's known to be a haven for server hoppers.

I'd like to see a revamped humanity system that is based on the players total stats rather than just the character they're playing with. I'm not talking about one little bandit skin either. Everyone would eventually change to reflect their style of gameplay. It could be simple changes or entirely different skins based on how many particular actions you do with your characters. Besides making the world more interesting you'd be able to I.D. a bandit or helpful player from a distance and immediately know how to interact with them. That was sort of the idea behind the bandit skin right? Wouldn't it be interesting to run into a mountain man decked out in animal skins or a pack of hillbillies? Mr. Good Guy Rick and his band of scared survivors? Rough looking bandits with blood splattered gear? That's just my opinion and it wouldn't be as easy as the 1 kill = bandit system but it would be more useful to players of all types. -
I smell a hopper. For the record, it does take a while to save items. I'm glad it does. It cuts down on people who jump into a server, grab something off a dead body they sniped before dc'ing, and then jump away.
