4. Community- Is the entire community nothing but trolls/bandits?? Starting with no gun is enough of a pain, but almost everytime I have seen someone, there is nothing but a bullet in my head before any words are spoken. Yay!, you earned a bandage and a flashlight... and now you have one bullet less. The other time, a group was kind enough to let me live.... trapped on the roof of a building surrounded by zombies, with alas... no gun. I see this comment all the time. When are people going to realise this is a zombie apocalypse simulation game. It is every man for himself, we are all competing against eachother for items and renown. You want a game where people sit around and be friends, go play second life or something...this is a shooter, hence the shooting.

I aimed at the first guy and asked again, "friendly?". They're in the same boat as you, they don't want to die either. By aiming your gun at them you're not showing that your friendly, only saying it. If someone aims their gun at me, I will shoot first ask questions later.

Hi folks! My name is scrambler, I am a 24 year old man made of meat. I live in New Zealand and am a computer science major, which means I have a heap of free time. I am looking for an active, organised group of players from AUS/NZ that I can team up with. I have spent the last few months flying solo, I have been playing Day Z for a while and have tried my hand at almost every aspect of the game. I have built a car and ATV, found 3 green hueys and flown in 1 of them, explored almost the entire map and even tried my hand at banditry. A bit about me then, I am 24 and am currently studying computer science at uni. As a student I have a heap of free time to play Day Z. You mentioned gear, currently I don't have any because I just got killed >.< but gear is so easy to come across it's not funny. I have been banditing for months now, since the early patches of Day Z, I have been all over the map and know most of the tricks of the trade. On a side note I have a working microphone and teamspeak/vent, I think voice comms is essential to a successful bandit group.

Translation : This game is too hard, QQ, we want easy mode, QQ, what is challenge, QQ, You mean we actually have to think?, QQ Oh and cool stuff wouldn't be cool if it was common...

The best way to reduce PvP is to run down a main road at night, with a lit flare in your hands. Seriously, I think we can all agree this would rapidly reduce pvp, OP I suggest you try it first...given than a PvP reduction was your idea in the first place. Oh and make sure you're screaming on direct and firing your gun while you do it.

Locate Griff, kill him, wear his face like some sort of Griff Mask...then, go on a massive killing spree while everyone thinks I'm him. But mostly just kill Griff...That is my goal in Day Z, it's nothing personal...in fact I like the guy, hence the reason I want him to die at my hands and not someone elses. <3

This mod is a zombie apoc simulator... If there were no courts, or police or even society and people were desperate for food/water/supplies, do you really think there wouldn't be "random murders". No to mention they're not "random murders", I am a bandit and I kill people to get better gear. I'm not some giddy 14 year old trying to ruin your fun, I am trying to have my own fun. In closing may I direct you to games such as club penguin or hello kitty adventure island, I think they would suit you better than a violent, lawless, post apoc zombie game.

At night Never run with a flare or light source in your hands! I myself have preyed upon those who visualize themselves. To better hide yourself at night just suck it up and run in the dark! Please make sure you are doing this in a safe area such as the beach or a well known location! ^^ Please, Please, Please ignore this...I promise no harm will come to you *shifty eyes*

Drop gear, swim into center of lake (must be deep), scroll, Fill Water. Leave your bag on shore though, unless you want to lose it. Oh and uhm, while you're swimming in the lake, make sure you throw some flares around and maybe like, shoot off your gun a few times, so uhm you scare away the eels...yeah eels.

I think the recent change the the Makarov was a good thing, it keeps bandits (curse them) from spawning and then destroying anyone they find. Also the reason they put "lewt" in certain places is to promote teamwork and competition for items. I wouldn't worry about it though man, eventually I'll find you and "borrow" all of your equipment anyway. ^.^

There are these weird human like things walking around, not zombies...they're kinda rare I guess but really easy to kill and they are ALWAYS full of loot; guns, ammo, water, food, NVGs...you name it. =^.^= <--innocent cat face *meow*
