That is just in the last 30 minutes. I hate do to it, but also gonna have to become shoot on sight, you can say no COD kiddies, no blah blah. I don't care what bugs you fix, what changes you make to zombies, spawns, anything. The main problem with this kind of game comes down to community. I know some people are bandits, I have played a few bandit"" lives. This mod's own community + crap battleye+cheap/script detction is going to kill it before it gets started. Anyone got a link on how to set up a local server, or can tell me how, for DayZ like can you for reg ARMA 2? Would be quite enjoyable just to set up a camp/base and vehicles with friends Or know a good private database server? That is not filled with hackers or no/cd.

Anyway anyone? How to set local dayz server for friends? Nevermind found a couple of versions, Conan's and anti_rocket's. Hopefully they work and get me through till more patches to fix current issues.

Russian section of the forum? Could care less. Look at when Russians were first allowed into DayZ has gotten worse and worse since. Now, not only are they in general random killers.. to an extent, they make up a large majority of the hacker population. Does not matter what country it is "based in." It is not even actually in "Russia"... according to Arma lore.

It is a useful suggestion. You would notice a bigger/better difference in the mod, than any inventory, bug, or item change. Guaranteed.

Ruin this idea/mod. I love everything else about this mod, been playing with a few friends for quite some time. Could care less about bugs, etc... The mod itself is alpha, so I could care less. It's amazing as an alpha. Community 50% , however, is shit. Absolute shit. Have been shot and killed by people, killed by a gate, killed by a doorway, and a tree. Could care less, again its a new mod. I hate disconnecting and reconnecting people though, even more so getting killed by them. Why not just ban someone from reconnecting to the database for 30 minutes, if they have been on a previous server for >5 mins? It is getting quite tiresome, my last 3 deaths, were from these pricks. It has gotten worse with this barb wire shit as well. Server hoppers get all the good looted places=more people server hopping=just DC'ing and hoping= boring game where ALT+F4 or DC is just multiplayer instant save. 2012 ALT+F4 Simulator. Never die, never actually play the game! Hope you guys can figure this out, people treat it like its part of the game... Until then I myself am just gonna chill back and play something else. Will keep an eye on change logs for that being fixed! EDIT: Read another thread. Best thing ever. Server side saves, no switching servers. One char per server!
