So when it's tied to my cd-key it is basically as uniqe as it and I would have to get a new cd-key to get a new player-id? Well same difference then.

Hmm but I can change my profile name and still have all my things or not? (didn't actually try myself)

I think they ban the cd key not the player id. And as for the weapon changes, they probably changed the ammunition and not the weapons. So these changes would affect all weapons in arma that use the changed ammo. The guys at dayzdb probably just posted the weapons interesting for us.

It will be fixed in 1.7.2.4. So for now you can not find any clothing. Apart from the ghillie suit there is camo clothing. [edit] damn I'm slow [/edit]

Is it possible to lock the gamma settings via the mod or the server-settings by any chance? Would be nice to be sure that i am not the only one who can't see anything when it's dark.

I like the 5 second timer, would prefer at least 10 seconds though. Disabling the respawn button is cool too. And I would not implement any group spawn at all. When you risk your live and die you are dead and start new. Doesn't matter who you knew "in your previous life". Fresh at the coast - deal with it! As for a standalone version I would love to see a custom map with a big city that covers about 10% of the world. With (fully enterable) skyscrapers and sewer system and all that.

the default skins are clientside. so you can look different for other players. until you wear a camo or ghillie suit. female skin is always the same and females can't put on other skins. -
The zigzagging happens because of the pathfinding in arma. In the video you posted the animations are slower which leeds to seemingly smoother paths to the player I think.

I think you get the "wat for host" when the server doesn't actually run 94945. The actual server version is shown in the ingame server browser in the lower right corner.
