Commander is the best one to use. As for installing lingor through commander, I've been having problems on it as well and I haven't been able to download it at all since it updated to v1.0

No, stop being a cheap tightwad and just pay the extra $10. Plus you shouldn't buy the game just for the mod. Arma 2 itself is great. -
My policy is shoot anything with a gun or axe on their back. You never know when an axe maniac will try to sneak up on you. I don't shoot unarmed though even though I took out a freshly spawn team of 4 unarmed once because they could have been a problem later.

No. There is literally no survival aspect without pvp. Zombies are easy as shit to get away from, just run into a building or zigzag your way up a hill.

I find antibiotics all the time down in cherno by the army tents. There's always one there it seems.

So pretty much just buff up zombies and make yourself easier to see/hear. As a new player I would crawl through streets to avoid making noise and like you said now I just run through cities because I know where to lose them at, etc. -
The enfield is as loud as fucking nuke going off but I'd prefer it over the shotgun because of it's 1 hit kill capabilities. Just use a side arm for the zombies.

You get penalized for server hopping too much now. -
Follow this guy's fix and you'll be on your way. If you just downloaded the game then battleye didn't install properly which is why you get stuck at that loading screen. I spent hours uninstalling and installing again for no success then I come here and find out the fix is this easy.

New to Arma II: Can't launch Day Z

Your my hero. Avast blocked the installation when I first ran arma 2 and I never noticed it. All of those hours wasted trying to uninstall and reinstall the game when the fix was so simple. -
Same that's happened to me. Just wait it out because ever since the summer sale started there has been so many new players. I've been playing for nearly 2 weeks now. It's worth the wait. Oh and don't forget to run Arma II once. It's both of them that you have to run.

Same problem. It has worked for me before these patches (like a week ago I last played) and now it won't get past that god damn loading screen. Somebody please help. -
