After the server is announced, it will be a perfect time to join as long as you're nowhere near electro. Everything north, east, and west of Electro will be totally lifeless. Good time to move carelessly, imo.

My bestfriend..err.."Stranger I've never met" spawns a few hacked weapons. I of course am standing next to him, just out of coincidence and happen to kill him, by coincidence of course. Coincidently, I see some awesome guns on him, and I coincidently pick them up. Coincidently I "have never read the wiki" so I don't know what's legit or not. It's all just one big coincidence, after all. See why your reasoning is bullshit yet? -

Doesn't matter if it's outdated. Militaries don't use the Winchester or crossbows (inb4 BlackOps) either, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be in the game. It's the most popular assault rifle ever made. They're EVERYWHERE.

I disagree. It's more of a war-survival game than a zombie-survival game. Zombies don't even matter after you play the game for more than an hour.

Awesome both US5 and US 5 are both now pestered by hackers, according to the forums. Both were my "home" servers. -

Even if that's true, they OBVIOUSLY copied everything they could from DayZ. The player models even look the exact damn same. I'm not saying it won't be fun or whatever, but it's OBVIOUSLY an attempt to copy. If you don't see that then you're pretty ignorant. -

I didn't even know there was a singeplayer mode anymore, I also didn't know you could ever have more than one character. And you don't start with a gun in DayZ anymore, go find a barn.

Why was he bandaging if you never shot him? How did he live if you shot him in the head? Your story doesn't add up. Don't lie. You sprayed bullets and managed to land a couple by accident.

Not sure that I agree. The game is almost as realistic as it can get, and that's the point. Obviously over half a million people are semi-fine with it the way it is. There's no reason to make it into something it's not. Just because you want gun-fights to be like other shooters doesn't make it a good thing. The reason DayZ is getting so much attention is because it's finally a game that's actually willing to be different. Let it be different. -
Recruit/Regular/Veteran/Expert difficulties

There's also differences in the way nametags shows up, and past recruit you don't have your own "rangefinder" On recruit servers your location on your personal map is also kept track of.
