    Hey, I finally got mine to work. What I did was (I saw this in another thread) open Steam, right-click Arma II and select "Properties," in there go to the "Local Files" tab, click "Verify integrity of game cache." Do this for Arma II: OA, too. Open both games to update, now try and do DayZ and it should work. I hope this helps you, good luck.

    I'm having this exact issue. I connect to the server fine, but when I try to start and go through all the loading, my friends are seeing my "Battle Eye initialization failed"

    Cannot Join Servers

    Hello, I just recently installed Steam and purchased Arma II and Arma II: OA. I have a few friends talking a lot about this DayZ mod so I thought I'd give it a shot. I currently have everything installed (Steam, Arma II, Arma II: OA, SIX Launcher/Updater and the DayZ Mod) and I have opened both games to fully update them. Everything is set to run as admin. When I choose a server, it joins and I get to the "Multiplayer Setup" screen and click "OK." I get to 1 or 2 load screens and then get sent to the main menu of Arma II: OA. I have yet to play the game once. Please, any help would be appreciated.
