As a common member to the 454 server I can say i and a few others have Raided what we know of to be SIco camp sites for at least a month now. We have had a glorious battle at the dam site one night where I blew up there sedan (and me with it) we threw glowsticks everywhere and it was a great firefight. we also found another site where we killed a sico member and blew up there bus, and stole there pick up and UAZ. it has been great fun. I have been killed in my own camp after stealing a ural with various high end items and our camps were empty on return, I love our miny battles!

the respawn button is there to kill you. you only get 1 life in dayz if you die you start over. so it did its job.

Why do you care how many posts people have? Maybe in the time it took to respond to all these "basement dwellers" you could have ran from cherno to electro and back 10 times. If this game does not suit your needs, don't play it. not every game is going to be hand carved to what you need. given the amount of people who disagree with you here and on reddit and various other threads, this is a welcome change "as long as debug plains is fixed" I don't spend time in Call of Duty sites saying they need to remove killstreaks out of the game because it removes any sort of skill at all and adds a random factor to the game. I simply don't play it , it's not for me. Stop badmouthing gamers about how much time they spend enjoying there life and get your own shit together.

A solo player using it as a gun its almost useless. using it to scout with a sniper or just scout and switch to a better gun is another story. its the best scouting tool in the game hands down.

If you did not save tents after removing gear the gear comes back sadly. make sure you always save tents before destroying. Good find though otherwise. This is what I spend 90% of my dayz time doing so Kudos fellow tent pillager!

there are not any "bad spawns" unless you are trying to get somewhere specific. some spawns are more ideal for getting quick loot but those places are also death camps. I am all for this update. anything to make servers run better.

If it takes you 30 minutes to get from cherno to electro your doing something so wrong.

If I cant carry away everything I take everything out and put it under trees and such so you don't have it anymore. I spend hours in this game never seeing another player, I spend it surviving and pillaging peoples tents for gear to keep my survival going. I have not died in a long time. maybe you should play the game differently?

I was pitching a tent then I saw like 20 players floating in space, the the server death roll ran I was saved by my tent pitch I think but the whole server player base was killed from what I could see.

I'm just going to say this. If I find a camp site, once I take your good gear, will take the rest of your gear out and drop the items under like pine trees. leaving the camp site empty. unless I have a vehicle then I just run the tents over and the items are gone that way to.

I know this is going to make some people angry and say things like "you are a bad man!" and I agree. But I have found great joy in riding my bike on the edges of the map and in the forests searching for tent camps, and vehicle camps. when I find camps I search them for supplies, then whatever I do not need I leave in the tents. I then nudge the tent very gently with the bike and Poof, it flattens. you loose everything. if you have vehicles I usually shoot out the tires and possibly the engines with guns from your tent before destroying them. I like to think I'm re-balancing the servers just a bit. people server hoping, storing all there high end gear its all reset into video game ether and I move along to the next camp. since im riding mostly along the edge of the tree line west and north, sometimes east. I get around very fast, and this has given me more joy then just sitting at electro and cherno sniping people.

Guys First let me say, I have been in a clan in this game, Ive done lots of teamspeak "ops" with like 8 people overwatching a location calling out zeds, looking out for players, and raiding areas. so the people saying "once you get a group of actual friends and have your own base raided you wouldnt do this. Bullshit. not a week ago did me and my friends lose 8 tents full of meds, 2 m24's some alice packs and general starting gear so if we did die we could gear up again easy. also saying im a server hopper because I said I have bikes on different servers. None of you ever play on different servers? you only stick to 1 all the time? I'm not logging out in Nw barracks, logging into a new server inside looting and repeating. I have a spot I store my bike on each server and I pick a server a night to pillage. am i upset when I log onto a server and my bike is gone? Not really im close enough to towns that I can hunt for a new one, or stick to the edges and find who took it. tent hunting has become my new endgame. running ops got old pretty quick and noob town kills are really boring. "hey I sniped you from 800m away and all you had on you was a hatchet herp derp fun" only lasted for so long.

Im not assuming there all doing it. alot of them I find also have vehicles and I blow those up to to reset them into the world, take power away from those with it. and yes I am getting a lot of joy out of it.

This thread is so full of wrong. When you die (boo-hoo qq it happened get over it) its not very hard to gear back up to a decent level to then go hunt the harder spawns. try spawning in Kamenka. run north to and hit the three deer stands. Hit Pavlovo, keep going north, hit 2 more deer stands, then supermarket in and barn Zelnegorsc. Most servers that route is very low pop and there is a high payout for mid tier gear. also you can head to stary or NWAF after and really get gear. thats like a 20 minute trip and your back in the swing of things. also use maps like this to help you find loot where you might miss it. http://dayzdb.com/map Stay out of cherno and electro unless you dont care about death because they are extremely high pop with bandits on every server. this game is very easy at the moment re-gearing by just running into a building or up or down a steep hill so pulling zeds doesn't matter.

Was your set of tents with the motorcycle near the water right above Ne airfield? I may know the location of said motorcycle. there were 3 tents and a motorcycle I forget what server it was on though.

So having a broken leg sucks right? Well we here at Sprint Fall Industries have developed a new trick to help get you to that morphine faster! Ok so In all seriousness if your leg is broken and you need to get moving someplace safe or just across a field or anything. double tap and hold forward as if you were trying to sprint. then while holding forward still hold down the Left direction as well. this will spring you to your feet spring for about 10 feet fall on your face get up and spring again. I did this for 3000m to get back to my camp and it was much faster then just crawling. have fun and bring morphine!

Man so glad you pointed out someone who logs off to stay alive, Hopefully this does not catch on and all the forum is is "omg alt-f4" Also I think you need more hurtful adjectives.

This is not like a epidemic or anything though. it is extremely unlikely to do if you log off in a safe area. I have been playing for about 2 months now and I would say this has happened a total of 1 time when i was stupid and logged out in the Bolotta Air control tower. Not a safe place to log out so I knew the risk. I dont see how they could stop this either, tell a Paying customer, nope you cant log in yet because there happens to be someone laying down on the hill of stary where you logged off and you have to wait till his 30 minute camp of the tents is over with? that would hurt the game. even if they moved you you would know someone else was nearby giving away there location. It is fine the way it is, just be more safe with your log outs.
