It's funny cause you think that a developer would waste their time trawling through ASM. I don't follow you? Why would anyone use second generation when they ahve the ability to use 3rd generation? It just doesn't make sense, you're dealing with so much code I couldn't even begin to wonder why the fuck anyone would use a debugger using ASM. That's like.....looking at the execution of an exterior library related to DirectX that only calls 1 function, such as a pixel lmao. I don't really think you know what you're talking about. Well it wouldn't be complicated if the damage was a set prefix such as 78 damage calculated by a simple stat formula. But we're working with modular body parts here that require there own calculations. I really don't think you understand what you're talking about :/

You really just asked this? You're an idiot. First off its quite clear to comprehend you have no idea about programming as we're not using ASM we're using c++ this means we use a COMPILER. Creating a network architecture that handles 15k dynamic objects. This means player items, bats, equips and the states they're in. This averages out at 8 per player. Think of it like this, a zombie hits a player and the hoodie gets damaged. This means that the servers has to first calculate the date the zombie did, whether you bat hit affected its hitting capabilities If your bat got damaged if it alerted other zombies. How much damage the zombie did to you how much damage you did to it, can it walk, can you walk. It's probably doing that for 5 players at any one time ON TOP OF keeping all zombies alive and checking their status. Running validation checks to ensure players are correctly playing the game, to ensure no duping. If the batteries on your m4 Cco have run out whether you're travelling at the correct speed. Can you see now its not simple AT all. And these are just some of the things that a server has to do. Not only do but be written!! This is not even anything to do with the desynchronisation issues they're more to worry about

Hey David, we're currently going to be playing Epoch? How do you feel about this, if you think you'd be able to play it, please either message or leave your Skype/Steam in this thread and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. We're currently 2 people who are quite experienced yet have been away from the game for a while. We're in EU time zones and are looking to make a small close-knit group that are up for a laugh with hints of seriousness when it's needed. We're pretty chill and expect good teamwork but we're really not bothered if we die(WARNING: Jimmy's may get partially rustled) . My Skype: luca.anthony.chard Hope to hear from you soon, Drue EDIT: Or leave yours and I'll add you. -
2 Experienced players - EU time zone - looking for 3-4 DayZ/Epoch players who are friendly and up for a good laugh!

Bump! Hope to see some replies, gonna start playing today :D! -
Hello guys! So far, I have been playing testing the waters. Been playing since the start of Vanilla, gave up a few months ago but looking again to play. I've met another guy, and we're both EU zone. We both agreed that we'd love to create a small group of individuals who can just have a good time playing together and form some new friendships. We're looking for another 3 or 4, we're looking to get some people who want to take things seriously but as my motto goes: "Yeah I wanna play seriously, but shit happens, no need for us to cry!" (terrible motto). So if you think you're friendly and can be active for an EU timezone (talking being able to play at least 3 times a week would be nice!) Really we're looking for mature players. I'm never going to put a mark on age but we're not exactly looking for anyone below 16-17. Skill level doesn't matter, we just wanna build bases and shoot faces :D! If you're interested: drudain (steam) - luca.anthony.chard (Skype) Thanks, Drue.
