Like the title says, I've been seeing a few players that are wearing ski mask lately, so has my friend. I also killed a guy yesterday that appeared to be wearing some sort of surgical mask, but I didn't get much of a good look and it may have just been me. I'm almost certain though that there are players wearing ski mask. Are they really, and if so, how are they doing this? I only just recently started seeing this.

You lost an ATV. Everyone loses camps, vehicles, gear, ect, but some people decide to be little bratty kids and think they have a right to start hacking to get it back. Well Chernarus Life (And Takistan/Zargabad Life) is a terrible mod. I've played it since before anyone even knew about Day Z multiple times and haven't once liked it.... So adding it to Day Z would be stupid. Not to mention Day Z is not supposed to be an RPG/Class based game.

Except the two games are directly tied in together, as far as backstory, location, ect.

Have you ever seen any of the warehouses full of ammo and arms in a post-Soviet state? Or any country? There's warehouse upon warehouse filled with tens (or hundreds) of thousands of crates of ammo in them with two cans each, each containing anywhere from 440 (7.62x54r)- 1080 (5.45x39) rounds each. When countries go through civil wars like Chernarus did, that stuff spreads all over the place. I don't know if you remember the Libya conflict, but there were those warehouses full or arms and people were just running in, grabbing a few crates of ammo and guns, and running out. And Libya wasn't even a Soviet country. Imagine what a country that actually produced it's own arms and ammo would have,

Remember that Chernarus is a former Soviet satellite country that was just rocked by a massive civil war, and then zombies. The military is dead, as are most people, so all the weapons are laying around.

I've heard a conspiracy before that it's actually War Z staff doing all this, lol.

Not that big of an achievement, the Remington sucks. I've killed someone with an AKM (that was aware I was there and shooting at me) with a Makarov once. It's really not too huge of an achievement.

Skiddies are pretty much/have wrecked the mod. I used to be on the "Deal with it, it's part of the game" train and kept playing anyway, since the only servers that used to really get hacked were ones with 30+ people, but now it seems most servers I go on there's some form of scripting going on. Even the private hives that used to be havens of sorts are starting to get pretty bad. We just have to wait until the standalone I suppose...

The difference is your story sounds plausible. His story of blowing up a camp, waiting for TWO hours, then destroying their UAZ's, isn't.

Some of these have been posted already, but one of the following, the last three going together as one feature. More melee weapons. Much more loot variety (Soviet Era weapons, anyone?) Physics Engine Hacks/Skiddies banned forever, never to return. Better optimization. Weapon modification. (Optics, barrels, ects could be very rare military spawns) Different ammo types, and finding loose ammo instead of magazines, (But also finding empty mags) then loading mags with that ammo. (Example lead ball, AP, API, tracers, ect.) Weapon wear. (Over thousands of rounds guns could deteriote slightly. Most would spawn in mid-condition, with a pristine gun being a prized find.) Guns jamming. (Could go with weapon wear, only happens every few hundred or thousand rounds, depending on gun and condition.) Gun cleaning. (Lessens weapon wear rate and jam rate if gun is clean. Would have to find gun cleaning supplies to clean.) I'd be happy to see any of these in the game, but the last three of course would hopefully go together.

Fix'd. Anyway I think Doorman is God starts you off with a hatchet. Finding a gun IMO is the most fun part in Day Z.
