I think it would be cool too if you could say, change out things like barrels (Better long range accuracy), grips, sights, ect. It's really not CoD'ish if done right, you can do it in real life and it's usually fairly simple to do.

Not totally impossible actually, considering the hero skin runs faster than others. Not too far fetched camoflague clothes would add armor then. I suppose this could easily be tested in game with an M9 or and a video recorder. Though you're not going to be stopping high power rifle rounds with it, maybe just a slight damage decrease.

You obviously have no idea how long it takes to map. It would be amazingly cool, yes, but it would probably take literally a century to do. Not to mention mapping CONSTANT daily changes to the world...

I don't see a .50 cal sniper rifle being useful for a medic though, as they don't sit in one place and camp, waiting for the perfect shot. They move quickly and constantly and to get to their patients, that's it. I could see them using an L85 maybe, hell even a DMR because it's 20 rounds semi auto, but not a .50...

It's far, far too small for use with Day Z. However, like Fraggle has said, it would be a good expansion to the current map.

I can trade a Coyote Backpack, M9SD, PDW-SD, DMR, M249 SAW, DMR, M16A2 ACOG, AKM, L85A2 AWS, NVG's, Rangefinders, or antibiotics for this gun. It's one of the very few guns in the game I've never had, and I want one. Acquired a Mk48 from someone's camp, now am looking for a SVD camo.

Yes, my PDW that I don't use on people is breaking the game. Not server nuking, not bugs, not broken tents, not ghosting, not x y or z problem. It's me running around with a small (Not at all overpowered) trophy. And if I get banned from a server, then I won't rant on the forums, I'll go to another one where the admin isn't a dickhead who doesn't read the rules. They're not even close to the same thing. The PDW-SD is just my zombie slayer, it's a small arm that is comparable in power to things like an M9SD or regular PDW. An Apache on the other hand, is solely for grieifng, and there is nothing even similar to power to an Apache in Day Z. The PDW-SD is a silenced handgun, terrible for PVP like other weapons in the game. An apache shoots a 30mm high explosive cannon, rockets, and missles. An Apache would make you unbeatable, a PDW-SD is just a convenience to me when facing zombies. It's basically just an M9SD with 15 more rounds of ammo and full auto if I want it. I killed the hacker and I got a small little trophy that isn't benefiting or hurting anyone but me. Get over it.

You should have kept it, as you earned it fair and square. You killed a hacker, and that is your prize. I took an AS-50 TWS and PDW-SD from hacker, and now it's part of my normal loadout. Why? They're great guns and I earned them. Let me know if you want to know the co-ords of a hacker camp so you can get another.
