Still no graphics glitches, but... I spawned down south again lol, This is the 2nd time since the latest update. Latest update stopped the artifacts for me and made loading server faster, but ive now moved twice from NW Airfield and Stary down to Dakan. Not a hue deal as i have all my stuff atleast lol.

Unplayable? The last update made getting onto servers faster for me and all the artifacts are gone at NW airfeild, stary and cherno for me. 7 hours and not one graphics glitch since the new update.

Some are having issues and some are 100% fixed for the graphics issues. 7 hours ive played and no graphics bugs at NW airfield, stary or cherno/bolata. Posted screenshots a few pages back. Id say of about 40 friends of mine half are still getting glitches and half are not.

No graphics glitches for me, been to NW airfield, Stary, Cherno and Bolata, they are all gone finally. No more headaches! haha

I have joined some servers that say they are going to reset all vehicles and tents or something along those lines because of all the hacking/dupping that has gone on. This could just be nonsense I dont know, but I did see two servers last night say something like that when I first joined.

About 6-7 hours I have logged in since this update and I sitll have not had any graphics glitches. The only glitch I had was after about 5 hours I spawned at Dakan (I was at NW Airfields). I have tried goign to NW Airfield, Stary Tents, Cherno and Electroz and ZERO graphcis glitches now. The only place I have not been that usually gives me graphics artifacts is Bolata, all the others I mentioned above I now get no artifacts (i have joined 30+ different servers to try and get the graphics artifacts back and no luck). Something helped me, I hope another quick update comes out so everyone can be artifact free! Its wonderful to not get a headache now when doing near NW Airfield and Stary now :D Besides the random spawn to Dakan down south (from NW Airfield) this has been a fantastic update for me! The loading times to join servers has been cut in half for me and also the graphics issues as fixed (which was my bigggest issue the last few weeks). **I did have to go to main menu and then turn my overall graphics settings to medium and then back to high, also turning off AA and Vsync. Since I did that ive had no graphics glitches in just over 6 hours playtime) Changing graphics settings IN GAME did not work, I had to go to main menu and change overall settings and then back again directly after installing arma2 beta. I actually tried to replicate it by going back to previous arma2 beta and same thing, I had to do the above to get rid of the glitches 100%** Just posting so maybe the devs can get an idea! Maybe this helps who knows! I have latest versions of both dayz and arma2 beta, tried joining numerous different servers and also 5-6 different gaming sessions where I exited the game and came back later on Here is a screenshot of NW airfield where i use to get TONS of artifacts (I joined random server after random server and ran frmo barracks to barracks to see if glitches would come back but they wouldnt) The last week or two I would get CRAZY graphics glitches at these spots, so bad that I could not even walk or do anything! Now as you can see its gone. I tried everything from zooming in with my gun to where the glitches use to be the worst and also running INTO where the glitches use to be and still gone.

This happened to me today, all the graphics glitches are gone for me, I was in NW airfield going to different servers to see if the glitches woudl come back on any server. Then I ended up in Dakan lol. Not that big of a deal although my friend who is somewhat new to the game will be up at NW Airfield on his own :D

mmmm, wonder what would happen if they took out the tank traps if some of these people would still have the issue. Hope they are working on it for those still having issues.

My bad, no argument, just was trying to say that its working for some and not for others, sorry if it came out another way on the forum. I know some are having issues with the graphics glitches still and some are not.

Six Updater was giving me issues a month ago with the new patches,etc.. so I just deleted that crap, nothign but problems for me when it comes to DAYZ. All I do is update arma2 beta and dayz updates manually (put the days files in the @dayz folder under steam/arma2/etc.. and then for arma2 beta after I install the exe I move the ao2.exe file from steam/arma2/expansion/beta and paste it into the main arma2 folder and replace it). For my launch info I have it as "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" You must have six updater fully uninstalled though or else it still says the wrong version. With the steps above it says the newest version,etc... and works fine when joining the servers. Me and 4 of my friends on steam who DONT have Six Updater are playing fine after updating manually. My other friends (around 10 or 12 of them) who use six updater are not able to join any of the newest update servers and it still says 1.7.2.4 For me and my other friedns not using SU it says 1.7.2.5

If you have steam version why are you launching through six launcher? Non of my friends who use six updater can play on any of the new version servers (even if they update it manually like you did).

And my point is that not everyone is having issues, just like you are saying not everyone is having ZERO problems like myself. Before non of the graphics settings changes worked for me, NON, but doing this from the main menu directly after the arma2 beta install worked perfectly for me. I dont think itll work for everyone but its working fine for me. 30+ servers ive joined and not one graphics issue at NW airfeild or Stary (when last night I had a shitload at those two places). Obviously some people are still having issues and some are not.

Ok, so.. things have been running awesome so far.... No glitches as i said before (no graphics glitches). ive played about 4 hours. But... I did just get spawned down at Dakan or what ever its called, along the beach down south. I was up at NW Airfields originally. So thats the only glitch/issue ive had so far! Other then that issue LOVING the update so far! Keep up the good work Rocket

Its 100% fixed for me, been on over 30 servers on todays arma2 beta and the beta before. I have been at NW airfeild the most but I also went to Stary to near the tents as those are the two spots where i get the graphcis glitches the worst. No issues now though at all for me. I dont use Six Updater or anything like that, just update manually. I also had to exit the server I was in and go to MAIN MENU and changed my overall graphics settings. Now I cant even replicate the graphics glitches no matter how hard I try! I am joining every server on the list to see if I can find the graphics glitches again but none!

Joined 26 servers now, ALL had zero graphics glitches at NW AIrfield (the usual spot where i have gotten graphics glitches for the last awhile non stop).

This worked for me and two other friends. As I said above, not only with one arma2 beta or one server, but numerous servers on both the last TWO previous ARMA2 patches aswell. Same thing happened, glitches until I go to graphics menu and change the full setting.

I have now joined around 8-9 different servers, I have not respawned at the beach once! So its not everyone having this issue

Ok an update here..... I was previously running "95819" arma2 beta with todays new dayz update... I had artifacts when I first joined a game at NW airfield. I went to main menu and then changed overall HIGH setting to MEDIUM and then back to HIGH (turning off AA and Vsync also). The artifacts where gone and the loading was very fast. Then I relized I was running last nights arma2 beta and not todays one.. so I downloaded 95883 beta and installed it (Also moved the .exe that is under steam/arma2/expansion/beta and pasted it into the main folder replacing the original .exe for arma). I then tried joining some of the 95883 servers and BAM Artifacst are back! So then I try going to the previous server I was in before and bam artiafacts are back! So I am thinking its the new ARMA2 beta.. but then I decided to go to MAIN MENU again and do the same thing with the graphics settings (Maybe you have to do thins after each time you update arma2 beta I thought). Sure enough it worked! I then joined 4 servers from 95883 and the previous one I was playing on with 95819 and 2 others with that arma2 patch and they all worked! No artifacts are NW Airfield!! Make sure you change you graphics settings at main menu after you update todays arma2 beta! This worked for me not just with 95883 but also the previous one! 95819 *I joined servers that ran both those versions* Hope that helps some people!! Worked for me so far with two different arma2 beat versions and also after I installed them both I had artifacts till i did that graphics change in menu.

All my friends that use Six Updater are having issues, myself and my other friends that update manually are working great. Might be a SU issue

Same with me!!! Not only no Artifacts now but I am getting Better FPS to! Donno if thats from the latest ARMA2 betas or the dayz update, but im impressed!!!!! Was just getting 52-60 fps at NW Airfeild with 20 people in the server.

95819 (downloaded last night, didnt think there was a new one this morning hehe) Looks like I am using the previous arma2 beta, going to try the newest one that went up today. Going to see if the latest one from today works the same or not. Be back to tell my findings.
