Haven't noticed. Although many players start their lives by scavenging the deerstands for quick gear-upping and low banditry. Might be just bad luck. It takes some time for the loot to spawn though.

Report on how this goes afterwards. I'm interested as I've heard they record a lot and it's always great when hackers get caught.

Huh. Seems to be so. Since there are so many woodland warriors etc. The helicopter hunter just caught my eye as new. I guess it's been there, just haven't noticed. I wonder what's after survivor. I know there's a new title at 450 messages. At least used to be on old forums.

Currently on the workpile for tonight: - Improving chat features (unique chat ID, users online, selectable font size etc.) - Selectable links font-size. - Fixing LMG ammunition - Game hotkeys chart And maybe some more I can't think of on the spot. Suggestions are highly appreciated. Unleashing new version at maybe 2 or 3 am EST.

OT: How do you get different titles? I've always been one or another depending on my postcount. T: Can't you see who's riding the heli from the logs? I heard they record everything.

No help here? I've seen tons of threads where someone asks for help in something and two people answer the same thing because they are writing simultanously since there are so many helpful users here.

Yeah and can't suicide without a weapon :D :D It's not too hard to die anyway though, unless your far north. Well, there's always the airfield ;)

I was shocked when I read this at first. I think goldminers ruin games like WoW and Runescape (yes, it was a great game before bots). I don't see this going well though, people will just end up killing the guy before paying and looting the salesman's corpse.

Aww I've never seen a golden weapon in-game. (not that I've seen one in real life either). I wouldn't keep it just would like to see one since they seem to pop up every now and then. Is there a golden version of every weapon?

Mostly what happens is you meet another player and try to ask him if he's friendly and he leaves his weapon pointed at you and starts writing text. That's when you shoot. Mic is an essential part of the game and adds to the immersion that keyboard typing can easily break.

Weird. I wonder if you could have been killed for meat :S Just today I read some player went to a server and appeared as a crow. Could fly up and down and side to side. I wonder why they made different controls for the animals as they're not supposed to be able to be played as.

YES, YES, YES. The new DayZ Mobile version 2.10 with a chat feature is here! You can select a nickname and start chatting with fellow players using DayZ Mobile. No answers so far but I started working on the chat anyway. Let's see if I get it done by the morning. Should be a nice addition to the app. Stay tuned.

Lol. What other animals are there that you could spawn as on a hacked server? It said "invalid vehicle" on the goad incident, did that happen to you IRIEVOLT? Also, I wonder if you could have direct communicated with other players when flying near them lol.

Well I never.. Now that's something. Too bad travelling inside a goat's belly is determined as an invalid transportation vehicle. Could you move when you were in goat-mode?

I like how P5yko took CoD as an example, as is the standard here :) Yeah sniping with a spotter is the best way and sniping alone is boring as hell. It's pretty exciting when you wait for an hour or so for someone to appear in your sights. Turn off the lights and stay close to the monitor, after 15 minutes it really feels like you're there :)

They can be found almost anywhere in residential and military areas. I suggest you quickly find some ammo and then start hunting for a backpack. Also don't trust other players even if they say friendly, I think that's proven not to mean anything nowadays.

Just go looting deerstands etc. to find more weapons and ammo. You don't have that much to lose on death so there's no reason to be hiding. Unless you're one of those hardcore players who really treat their DayZ life as real life and never want to die because they were too much in a hurry. Lee Enfield is a great weapon which is easy to get ammo for and is so powerful you can easily take out bandits with it should you encounter some.

While you use the map the guy you're sniping moves away...

Would anyone be interested in a chat feature? What I've witnessed is that there are about 10-20 people online (on app) at the prime hours of the day and seldom under 5 in the mornings etc. This way you could ask quick questions in the chat or maybe arrange meetups or communicate with your friend to locate each other on the same server. Also, when not playing, you could write with other players about the game. I think I could work on this tonight and maybe roll out a 2.10 version in the morning.

It's been a looong looong longcat long time since I lowered my guard when someone said "Friendly?" and played with me for an hour or two. There's just no telling when they turn against you and kill you for sport. They always laugh when they do that too :(

OH this was a real story? :o Guess Batman couldn't return all the weirdos back to the Arkham Asylum after all.
