If this dream becomes true the "Try to go north" tip would no longer be valid. Also new spawners would quickly get sidearms etc from the safe haven. -

One way would be to hide all good gear and have some mediocre weapon with you. Then you would go friendhunting and once you have established someone as friendly, you could go get better gear on yourself since he probably won't kill you anymore (now that you've bonded) -

Maybe PvP selection on login so you can't just hang out without PvP on with some bandits and then suddenly put PvP on and stab them in the back. It would just become a new way for bandits to get your stuff. -

Yeah but the only place worth looting would be the place with NGVs and rare & powerful weapons. They would - of course - be heavily guarded by 3-4 soldiers with rare & powerful weapons :) No time to loot & DC. The place where loot was kept could also change and no people would be let inside to see where they are in the loothouse. I think its doable. -

I don't think the game should be a lot harder, you should just get some bonuses from being with a group and the bigger the group the better. Maybe increase your chances for good loot like they do in Borderlands when your playing with many people. As of now I think there could be some more zombies wandering the forests etc, they seem to be all localized in cities and other main places. There's really no danger aside of bandits when running in forests, if there were more zombies in them teaming up would be more preferred. -

I actually thought of exactly what you just wrote yesterday. Would be really cool but I think it's just a utopia. You would need A LOT of players to prevent people from ruining the idea. For example someone could quickly take out the people guarding the powerful weapons and then quickly disconnect after looting. I think this idea would be possible with about 50 people though. And they would have to be on 24/7. Also the spawning zombies in cherno would probably be a big nuisance since it would probably be very loud there. -
Guffawing, gotta remember that. Great text, submit that to some other websites where people go to comment and rate short stories.

Great suggestion, it is indeed unrealistic that it takes a long time to find ur friends after an outbreak has happened. This would also prevent a lot of new spawners getting killed by beach roaming bandits. -

Groups of people are usually actually safer than individual people since one guy can't take out a whole crew. Even if he manages to kill two of four the remaining two will stay there and the respawned will get their stuff back uninterrupted. Just gotta keep that one player always in front of you :)
