Oh man, Horde. Quoting you made the forums barf. DOCTYPES and code all OVER THE PLACE. :D I'll say this - you've opened up a great idea. What if using a restricted weapon made it backfire, killing that person instantly? Smart thinking, good sir! TKJ

Suggestions to solve the biggest issues

Your opinion of what does, and does not, stand up to scrutiny is just that - your opinion. I have mine, and while it differs greatly, I recognize it's just that as well. Time will tell if the bandit skins remain in-game. It didn't affect me in the least. I never killed anyone who didn't shoot me first. That being said, I was one of the most hated players in the game because of my use of legal game mechanics. I was "The" Ninja Salvager who started a revolution. I was, and am, Tchell Dahhn. (I got a magazine article written about my exploits, actually.) But enough about me. Let's talk about you. What do you think of me? :D TKJ -
Suggestion: Benefits for grouping together, killing players

I'm almost 40, so I quite resemble this remark! :D TKJ -
That sounds AWESOME!!! I would like to think (although, I'm sorry if it's otherwise) that a crafty Admin figured out a way to pull this one off, and wants it to look like 'outside forces were trying to quell the zombie outbreak by any means necessary...' I would have loved to see that. TKJ

Zombies spawn from dead players (The Walking Dead universe)
The Killing Joke replied to dz302's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
I haven't read the comics, but all of my friends say that it's going to pick up BIG TIME next season, with the new character (specifically) as well as the new locale, if they're even CLOSE to the script. TKJ -

And I agree. But' date=' where we seem to differ, is in the fact that you cannot give unfair treatment out just because a bandit goes around killing innocents. Oh, and sure you are. Don't go giving me that 'God of the Gaps' crap. Firstly, nowhere did I say you said anything I posted. And I believe my stance of 'no unfair treatment' holds true against any suggestion where a player group is unfairly hindered. TKJ -

I think if we did away with the zig-zag altogether, we'd have a much better game. I mean, if they are hungry, they're not going to lollygag about. They're coming right for you! TKJ

Zombies spawn from dead players (The Walking Dead universe)

Right. They're undead. TKJ -
"Life's too short..." That's what my father told me, right before the sickness took him. I'd like to think that he would have been able to prepare me better for what would come next. The looting. The killing. The... death. It's been almost a month now, and my heart is hardening. I used to believe that I had seen everything in this world in my travels, but nothing prepared me for what happened when humanity fell in upon itself. I thought I had seen everything evil under the sun. But, when brother turned on brother, father on son, I realized that all that was good with the world was now gone. Just, gone. There is no humanity left to speak of. Sure, you could argue that the rag-tag groups that run through the cities are surrogate 'families'. You could tell me, "at least, there's hope" and I'd probably tell you where you can stick your so-called hope. See, I've seen the hope, the very life, drain from a man's eyes... Watched him turn from man to monster in a matter of minutes. Hope is what I had in my heart when my father changed. Hope that he would just die quietly. Hope that whatever soul he might have had would be saved from the living death of the sick, decaying carcass that took him from me. I hoped he would be spared. Hope is a fairy tale. A fleeting memory of when we had ... something. Hope is dead to me. There is only survival now. "Life's too short..." That's what my father told me, right before the sickness took him. Minutes before I put the bullet in his head. Time to survive.

Melee weapons / Zombie kills and humanity
The Killing Joke replied to Jester.'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
If we absolutely *have to* have bandits forever branded with a skin, then I would definitely vote to have humanity restored by a good number of zombie kills. It's the fairest idea I've read so far, in regards to the unfair disadvantage bandits are put at, at the moment. TKJ -
