While that is true, I did by the game specifically for this mod and while that may not be the case for everyone I know there are quite a few people out there that did the same thing. Even still, would you actually like being perma banned from playing DayZ because you died? I don't see how anyone can honestly believe that perma ban from DayZ cause of death is a good idea. Call me ignorant if you like but if you really think thats something DayZ should do than you are an idiot.

I was thinking something very similar to this. I would love to see a perk system and just like your equipment, you lose all perks on death. I would like to see you unlock perks by doing things or earning perk points. Add goals that need to be met to unlock perks. That could add a whole new element to the game

That is a terrible idea.... I paid for this game and I am sure I am not the only one that would be in a rage if I was no longer able to play the game just because I died a few times. Do you honestly think thats a good idea? Not to mention the amount of customers they would lose to that. Even the getting locked out of multiplayer for 30 minutes is idiotic at best. I am a married man with a life and sometimes only get an hour or 2 to play at a time. If dying kicked me out of the game for 30 minutes I wouldn't even waste my time.

I have thought about that much myself. I would like to see perks. The longer you live and more feats you accomplish you unlock perks that are lost on death. That could give incentive to live longer and even rack up some zombie kills depending on perks. I don't think anything unrealistic should be added. But I am sure there could be some creative perks rocket could come up with that would be in the realm of believable.

So, I know some servers still have some form of side chat. I also know how to change my chat channel by pressing ".". Now, some servers that do have the blue side chat when I do press "." I don't have the option. How do I use the side chat that some servers seem to have? I see other people talking in it at on this current server it shows as 1-A1 or something like that

Heres my question. A new map sounds great but how would that really work? Would all servers switch to new map or would it just depend on server? I could see it working if they all switched but what would happen to our characters when they switched? Say we last logged off near cherno. Where would we be on the new map? Or if only some servers change then how does that work when switching between servers with different maps?

I actually logged off once before a player killed me by accident. I was getting ready to log and right as i click abort I saw a dude walking towards me with a hatchet. lol I do agree that doing that intentionally is an exploit

I never had a single problem installing with six launcher. Are you launching the game from six launcher after the install? Don't pick a server from six launcher. just click launch. That what I did and I never got a single error

I am fairly new to the game and play with a group of friends from work. Last night we found a car that someone had fixed and we stole it and I ... may have accidentally shot the car tire a couple times... ... yeah. so anyway, I have looked around on the forum and cannot seem to find an answer to the question I have. My question is, are there locations or towns that have a higher spawn rate for car parts or tool boxes or is it all random? Thanks in advanced for the answers!
