Yeah really, I see where the OP is coming from. I hate all the litigious BS about TECHNICALLY not being entitled to criticize anything DayZ since we TECHNICALLY didn't pay for DayZ itself! I myself spent 30 dollars just to specifically play DayZ. I don't care what any armchair lawyer in here says, because I and everybody else should be able to give constructive criticism without rocket (when he actually bothers to comment) or a moderator underplaying it by saying "Well, you didn't pay for DayZ, so...", or "It's an Alpha, so stfu". Rocket said he wanted to hear the whole spectrum of opinions, so as to 'not become out of touch' with his player base and get too full of himself. Also, the developer(s) was to keep in good contact with the community...Well, so much for these platitudes.

I'm not judging, I'm just curious. I want to know why it seems that an unusually high number of members here are also Bronies. Is there some kind of natural attraction Bronies feel towards DayZ - almost like a magnetic pull? Or is it because maybe (idk) Rocket is a Brony as well? Please, I'd like to know if someone here has a plausible explanation for this phenomenon. Thanks.

Yes it does. I was thinking something along those lines too, but you summed it up really well there.

Zombies are more of a nuisance to me as opposed to being a legitimate lethal threat. On a scale of 1-10, - with 10 being the monsters from Amnesia: The Dark Descent and 1 being the goombas from Mario Bros. - I would rate the zombies in DayZ with a 2 in terms of their threat level.

Okay so basically a lot of members from these popular social sites 4-Chan and Reddit, who also happen to be Bronies, are flocking (no pun intended) around DayZ because it's the hip new thing out right now? Does that pretty much sum it up?
