This is a social experiment alright. The internet community is absolutely fucking nuts. There used to be a few enlightened souls who posted on forums that actually held the shit together and didn't tolerate trolls and enforced bans and the like. I have come across like one person who was banned in a thread. All people do anymore is act entitled and and self-important AND over the STUPIDEST SHIT! I don't know about you people, but I have worked with the public almost the last 20 years and I have lost respect for the human race as a whole. I can only imagine the shit threads this ordeal has spawned. I understand that the world has changed, and I'm not whining but people are fucking idiots and can't be trusted with thier own lives. Soon people will be wearing diapers and those double beercan holder hats everywhere they go. The only phone number that a smart phone will dial is TACOCOPTER! Everyday I just think, That movie Idiocracy is coming true! Only I don't think it's going to take 5000 years. I give it 20.

Just leave your server down until you get whitelisted. Absolutely no reason for it to be running unless you can play on it.

Here's an idea, stop thinking you need to work with every player in the game. Avoid contact with those you don't know. In the real world, if it all went to hell there would be rioting and chaos and you wouldn't walk up to anyone a salute. You would avoid contact will all unkown persons for fear that they would potentially do you harm. This is realism. Not "Hey, So and So are you friendly? DERP!"

Needless to say that I have invested some time here. I think the day/night cycle has either been tampered with or the server just plain needs restarted. Not sure if the day cycle can bug or whatever but there are zero zombies, awful FPS lag and naturally, no loot spawns. I don't wanna be a rat if the cycle has been locked but I made this my home server and I'd like it to stay that way. Thanks to all concerned

This happened some last night but i would just join a new server and it was fine. Today I can't find a game that isn't freaking out. I died at the NW airfield on day 7 and ended up getting on a different server to continue because the session was lost. The next thing I know I am at otmel and am getting 5 frames. Then I switched servers again and my character had turned somehow into a bandit with 26 zombie kills, 0 Murders, a bandit kill, and was already bleeding profusely and was at Kamenka. The next server I try I am still a bandit, Have full health but am Hemmoraging, am at Cap Golova and bleed out and die again. Not sure what is going on.

SavageJuicebox is back ingame with another copy of arma. I see him all the time unless he has been unbanned I checked the appeals and didn't see him in there. EDIT: Also GA1 is locking the day cycle. Was day for some and night for others. Dc'ing and hopping back in turned it day again. I saw a post about this screwing with load and login times so I figured I should report it.

Exactly. I don't trust anyone either and there is absolutely no reason to. I am surviving on my own. There is a high likelyhood that if a person is asking for help, he is either not alone or not in any danger. I watched a bandit for probably 20 minutes yesterday from the northwest hill overlooking Zelenogorsk. He was hurt. Had been attacked by zombies at least twice during my recon. I told him to loot the barn on the hill to the southwest and move south or I would kill him. He tried to bait me. Saying I just need help can you please help me? I said no I don't want contact. He continued to plead for help even though I had told him if he didn't comply I would shoot. Of course I didn't Have sniper capabilities although I could have ended him from cover and in silent bliss if he got anywhere near my position. All the while another survivor who could easily read the conversation I was having with the bandit (Remember I told him I wanted to have no contact with anyone) Thought it'd be a good idea to sneak up behind me and say hello. He was riddled with bullets and hemmoraging as he ran down the hill and disconnected. His name was DocHolliday by the way. Shouldn't have did that Doc sorry about the bullet wounds, oh and you owe me 6 mp5sd you clock punching pussy.

honestly the only one I actually laughed out loud at was the one with the women standing behind the man..because this is me two nights ago. I literally only stopped playing so the ol lady would put out. I say I'm gonna go to the computer room to smoke a cig. Don't go to bed for two dayz lol.

Honestly I like this update better than what this game was before. It honestly makes the game more than a mod. It really kind of transforms it into it's own game. The zombies were annoying before. Now you really gotta be careful what you do. I think that the lonewolf sniper motherfuckers better think twice about when they pull that trigger. The DMR can raise a horde in a hurry. Oh and as a side note...try to stick to your pistols when taking down angered zombies. This lessens the chance of more in the vicinity hearing a louder gun and running straight at you. If you do this, you guys should be fine. We tried not to kill zombies last night. We snuck by three towns worth before we had major trouble and even then we only lost two guys of our four. That was due to the fact that two lofty individuals took the opportunity to kill two of ours during the melee. We thought they shot each other on accident until we were fired on later. In short, four of us managed to sneak through those towns brimming with zombies. We didn't do a lot of looting but only because we really didn't need to.

Gotta say the patch last night really changed the game mechanics. IN A GOOD WAY! No more running in or near towns. Me and my crew made a 10 klick Journey last night. It was awesome. We passed through three infested towns and only drew the ire of one small group of zombies en route to our destination. It was absolutely epic. This may not be what all you run and gunners want to hear, SLOW DOWN. Yeah zombies are every fuckin' place but if you slow down, crouch walk or even go prone. You can get with feet of them without them being the wiser. This game has really made me question whether or not people are even playing it right. I met three decent guys last night and by the time we were done. We were a Mad Max style road gang with somewhat bad intentions for the next few we ran across. It's not kill or be killed anymore. It's more like do I wanna risk shooting at those guys? Pick your battles folks.
