  1. I use the SIX Launcher and I've had no problems with it until yesterday. I see a lot of people including myself complaining about being unable to join servers, being stuck at a 'Loading' screen and other things. In the SIX Launcher it lists DayZ as version 1.7.2.4 rather than the newly released 1.7.2.5. I am unable to figure out how to update DayZ using the SIX Launcher or Updater if it is even possible or if it is even the cause of the issue. Is this normal for other people to not have version 1.7.2.5 in the SIX Launcher?

The second thing I wanted to ask about (please bear with me) only started today: The very odd time I am actually able to spawn on a server the game performs extremely poorly. I get what I would estimate to be about one frame per second. I honestly have no idea why this is happening and like I said the first issue started yesterday and this second one today.

If anyone can help me out I would really, really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

  2. Hi, I'm not 'new' but I'm still 'green'.

After the update which introduced a chance factor of zombies spotting you from insane distances, I can't seem to get anywhere near a town even in prone.

My question is how do I actually get past these zombies? I have no gun to shoot with as I'm a fresh spawn and I like I said I can't loot towns without a massive zombie train.

Hopefully the chance system is removed soon ;)

    Thanks,

    sG Marvin

Edit: What I'm talking about is in this thread here:

  3. I confirm this also, and is still an issue as of today (August 13th). I can't enter a town or even get near one without multiple zombies aggro'ing on me while moving in prone. The 'chance' system of zombies spotting you in theory is a good idea, but in its current state is broken. This has made the game unplayable for me unfortunately.
