I have been playing Dayz since early in the mod. I have only found friendlies to play with in game once in the entire time I've played (and they don't play the game anymore). This gives me hope as i have always had to run or defend myself after letting myself be know to people in game. I could always use the forums but there is just something about the thought of finding a legit friendly player or group completely ingame. -

I love it!!! I mean really love it!! I completely love the fact i am not guaranteed loot anywhere on the map, its how it should be in a hardcore survival game (which is what the mod was for a few glorious months in the beginning). I know most of the band wagoners only know dayz as the kos fest it has become but i personally love the feeling of really trying to survive in an apocalypse, its not like most people wouldnt be starving to some degree shortly after an apocalypse occurs and things r looted and expired. ps get off the coast -

Still playing, though lightly. I'm waiting for item storage of some sort, thats the big kicker for me. I really prefer the loot as is tbh, i really like the feeling of coming into a town and it being completely picked through except that rotten fruit....decisions, decisions. Also i am keeping my fingers crossed for what their final product for base building will be. -

If they did first person only they would lose tons of players. Look at which servers are the busiest. I personally hate 3rd person but am forced to play it due to the fact i get sick with any extended amount of time in first person. No ones way is the best way to play and if we are forced to go with the most popular way 3rd would win out. -
Seriously? This is an argument for or against something? In what world would u have a game that u are able to kill players in and that the majority of low IQ players wouldn't just kill players since they can't come up with anything better? There will always be PK, even if the made consequences (hopefully never) for it.

I love that they are lowering loot spawns. I kinda like the feeling of coming into towns and not being guaranteed loot. I like having to make hard decisions about what do i really need to be carrying with my limited space or am i going to have to eat some rotten fruit? It almost like...........you are surviving.

Gotta love the bitches in DayZ. Its sad the golden age of dayz ended the moment the MOD became popular. Its always gonna be a shell of what it could be.

i see no ability involved with ghosting, go play mario if u got no skills If they would just put a 30 minute timer for rejoining a server that u logged out of during combat, all this would go away. To be honest, the lack of feedback from devs on this matter have made me worry for the long time health of the game. Im all for getting the more important things done, but the ghosting and combat logging has almost ruined this game before so i would think they would at least post a future solution to the problem.

You cant stab with the bayonet yet, but i think u can put it in your hands as a weapon and maybe use it to open cans of food.

im 29 and in central US. Ive been playing dayz for at least a year ( humanity was an icon on the HUD when i started playing ). I'm pretty good with most weapons since ive been a lone wolf most of my playing time. If you are interested send me a message. I have preferred servers i play on, but they r populated and well maintained. -

this just makes me realize you are still very new or very naive. Remember DayZ rule number 1, Don't get attached to your gear. You would be amazed how many people can fly ( doesn't mean they can fly well). If i spawn west of bolata, the first thing i do is go up the west border and then arcross the north. You usually run across a chopper then the map is yours!! -
