    TX20 - Admin abuse/hackers

That's very strange, I've always known the TX20 server to have a very good administration. I know they've been having problems with hackers recently, but I doubt it's the admins' doing.

    Wilderness spawn after patching?

For Some reason or another I still have everything I did before, minus the Ghillie. Sad day =/
  3. I just patched to 1.7.2 with the Six Updater and my character spawned in the Wilderness with plains going for miles and player models around me. Wasn't this supposed to be fixed with this patch? The Canada 2 server is running an older version, so I can't use that solution. My Ghillie suit is also gone, and I don't want to lose everything I have. Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

    WHY SO MANY F*CK**G CU*TS?

I learned a while ago not to trust anyone that I don't know. I just play with two friends that I know in real life and we do just fine. Assume the worst of people in DayZ, it's a hell of a lot safer than trusting strangers.

    Barn House Shenanigans

I was honestly more consumed in surveying the carnage that had unfolded. About seven dead zombies on the first floor, with two dead players spraying blood everywhere. On the second floor, about five more zombies at the top of the stairwell and another player pouring blood to the floor below. Outside, even more dead zombies and a player dead in the entryway. It was a sight to behold. The guy may have been hacking or he may have hidden a vehicle nearby, but either way it made for a hell of a fight.

    Barn House Shenanigans

Could be. It was pretty satisfying killing him a second time, I heard him swearing on direct chat right after I shot his friend with the Enfield.
  7. So I was approaching the barn just south of Novy Sabor to meet my friend at Stary, When I come across two players running to the very same barn, already aiming down their sights at me. I took aim with my Winchester and dropped one of them just outside the barn entrance, then sprinted around back to take cover inside. The other guy, who I think was named Mike Jones (or something like that), had attracted some zombies and was moving in on me. He ran up the stairs and started picking the zombies off. Then he saw me downstairs and just as he looked down his barrel, I took two shots at his chest and saw him fall over and blood poor through the floor. At this point, about 5 zombies were in the barn, and after killing most of them one of them glitched through the wall behind me and broke my leg. After killing him, I fell unconscious and was yelling for my buddy to come help me in the barn. As I came to, my friend said he was really close. I saw someone enter the barn and thought it was him. To my horror, it was actually two people, one with a Winchester, the other an Enfield. The one with the Enfield was behind some boxes for cover and immediately started firing at me. He somehow missed, and I shot him in the head. The other guy ran up the stairs and I shot him dead on the spot. Despite my heart pounding so hard it was smashing into my ribs and actually shaking in real life, I saw the nametag of the guy I killed. It was Mike Jones, again. He somehow managed to make it all the way back to the barn in less than five minutes and already had a Winchester and ammo for it, along with some consumables. As soon as my friend got there and helped me finish off the zombies that were flooding in, we went outside and looked for a car. We assumed that would be the only way he could have gotten back up so fast. We never found one and it was getting late, so we both decided to call it a night and look for morphine in the morning. It was another great night of DayZ, the only game that can make me have such a real reaction to this kind of situation.
  8. So it's been about a week of playing together now, and my friends and I have established somewhat of a home base. We go down to the major cities for supplies every once in a while and scavenge, mostly keeping to ourselves. Tonight, it was just me and one other buddy. We decided to be a bit more adventurous than usual and head a bit further north to Stary. I grabbed my trusty CZ and he his M16 and we started following the power lines. Much to our surprise, we found a downed heli along the way, with an M14, M107, and an FAL, but only ammo for the M14. I grabbed the M14 and we carried on our merry way. Approaching the outskirts of Stary, I noticed a large blue object on the road. After squinting a bit, I yelled to my friend, "You won't believe this, I found a bus!" This was big news, as we had been looking for a vehicle for a while now. We giggled like little school girls when the engine revved up and it had just a teeny bit of gas left. We decided to leave the bus for the moment and take it with us on the return trip. We crawled all the way around the hill overlooking the military tents and surveyed the area for a good five minutes before deciding that I would watch over my buddy with a sniper rifle while he looted the tents. Unfortunately, he got in a mess and I had to shoot a zombie off of him. This seems to have opened up the gates of Dante's Inferno itself, as dozens of infected spawned and sprinted at me. We quickly decided that the only choice was to run into the barn just south of the tents and hold the walkers off there. After five straight minutes of blasting away, their numbers were dwindling when suddenly, we heard a shot from outside and my buddy took a bullet. We got down and finished off the rest if the walkers. I gave my buddy a blood transfusion and we bolted out the back door and weaves through buildings, never looking back. To our relief, the bus was still there, we drove it back, laughing all the way, within a mile of our camp. On the way back, we heard another guy shooting at us, but didn't think much of it. We finally ran out of gas just at the crashed heli, so we got out and ran to our camp to get jerry cans. To our horror, upon our return the bus was completely and hopelessly surrounded by walkers. Instead of trying to sneak around them, we decided that I would fire off a few shots and be bait while my buddy filled up the bus. Everything was going smoothly until my buddy choked out , "the fuel tank is broken, none of the gas is staying in!" 50 or so dead infected later, we were exhausted. Unfortunately, just as we had finished them off, another player came by and shot my buddy in the back. I took cover in the trees on the hill above us and waited for the guy to come out from behind the bus, swearing I would avenge my buddy. Sadly, he never came out. Upon seeing me, the guy had disconnected. So now after all this way, I'm waiting for our other friend to get in in the morning and help find parts to repair our bus and bring her home. It might not seem all that amazing, but this was one hell of an adventure for my buddy and I. I love this mod.
