My in-game name is ENF Edward. I'm currently in just north of Kamyshovo on the road with a toolbox, flashlight, M16A4 w/ 7 mags, and a patrol pack. A lift would be nice. -

Yeah, I joined earlier today and the admin (b-buck) said everybody who was in got automatically whitelisted. I've found tons of vehicles an made good friends already :D -

You could scout the edges of the map for peoples' tents and watch those, or you could look for camps around Devil's Castle and the airfields. If you're lucky enough, you could bag yourself a car or even the fabled helicopter! -
Looking for 2-3 man group to play Namalsk

My friend and I both have mics and Skype, we've each been playing for a good 2-3 months. He's Scottish and I myself am Russian so you can have a translator if we decide to play basic Chernarus as well. My Skype is edward.smakov and his is (edit later) I can't play immediatley because my computer slows down when I'm rendering video, but my friend Bazul is usually on at around 8pm Uk time. -
You could possibly join the Reddit Rescue Rangers. There, you would watch over the medics. I think they also have a Reddit Taxi Force, where you can get a ride somewhere in exchange for some item (value depends of distance I think). So you would be able to get a ride straight to the NWAF or somewhere in exchange for a ghille suit.

Try downloading DayZ Commander, it's very useful and will install your game seamlessly. A lot of people on the forums use it, and it should fix the problem you're having.

Actually, it needs to be in absolutely perfect condition. If even a single window is broken, you will leak fuel like crazy. My advice is, if you find one that isn't in perfect condition, but you can fuel it up enough to make it to an area with a fuel tank and/or industrial spawns, you can fix it up completely in 2-6 hours. it's a lot of work, but it's damn well worth it.

The AWS version has a thermal/night vision scope, which is very very useful for pairing with a sniper rifle or simply to scope out an area. It greatly improves your life expectancy if you have it. -
The Huey because it's so damn satisfying when you find one and are able to fix one up. You can cross the entire map in literally minutes. I had one once, I flew it around the coast playing "Flight of the Valkyries" and laughing like an absolute retard. Ah, good times :) But then I lost my baby when I forgot to save.
