  4. Hi everyone! I've been playing the DayZ mod for about a 6 months now, and I did everything I wanted, tried everything I could and few days ago decided that it's time for me to move on. I started reading arma 2 modding tutorials, discovering (for my own, ofc.) the great arma engine, and found that I could be useful for the community. I did not found any tools for modifying private hive server maps (like adding new buildings/objects) to the map. I know, there are many serveradmins who found that it could be done using the database, but this way is kinda weird and not accurate. Well, let's do the buissness finally. I made a simple tool that converts objects from your ARMA 2 hidden 3D editor to simple (and working!) mp mission class.   14. Hello, man! Do you use 7 instead of 5 then (like 3 instead of 1)? The solution for you is to download filters from the project page, rename them and use new named filters in your config.cfg.
  15. At February, 1st this server will migrate to GUID whitelist. It will be absolutely free, and you can be added to the whitelist just when it'll be created.   17. You want to test an engine? Good luck. I dont like Steam much, but I agree; it will be better for DayZ to be released (and runned lal) on this platform.
  18. What's about game settings? (I mean video game settings). Making them forced by the server makes possibilities to hack them also. Won't it be better just to remove some settings (like viewdistance etc.) to prevent the new type of hacking? And "player’s client sends its requests and the server decides if this is possible" - damn it sounds really sexy. Dont be hurry, guys, we will wait. Good work is done and I wish you good luck.

    By the way, I recommend you to ban for the pipeBomb weapon and just sort players after the ban (with checking logs). Smaller consequences for legit players.

    Server crashing since 1.7.4.4

  22. A new problem to me, just found that my Battleye stopped logging scripts.log. Any ideas?
  23. So I'm an admin of the UA 9 DayZ server. Each time after server restart we are having troubles with wire fences: some cheaters've planted way too many ones (i know they are cheaters because normal player can't plant 10 equal structures at the same places in different cities), so all players are still having artifacts and glitches :( I've tried running through all general cities with my mates and removing those fcaking wire fences manually, but after restart they are being appeared again and again. Even more then there were before. Is there a way to remove them permanently? Or at least make remove action saveable? Sorry if this was asked before, I just did not found anything. Thanks, ScareD.
