At first I was like "Oh, look, another QQ thread." And then I was like "Wait, this guy's actually doing something." Now I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Want some real end game? Capture a town. Try starting small (Rogovo for example) then move your way up (to say, Cherno!) I've tried doing this and have had many lulz and it keeps me interested.

They check but they don't actively block those programs. They just keep you from using the program the anti-cheat software is for. I'm with Zipper on this, and I'm sure plenty others are too. I do NOT want a MOD actively going through my computer and blocking programs it doesn't like.

I've seen a server that had Lingor DayZ, so, yeah. Closest to a jungle you're going to get.

I'd love to be able to have a diary. I'd use it to write short stories and stuff, to entertain myself/anyone who happens to get the book.

At first I saw the word lightning and got excited. And then I saw it was a typo and was disappointed.

A lot of threads are made each day in this forum suggesting fixes to a 'bandit problem.' Most of them seem like they're cut from the same mold, and pretty much all of them are shot down pretty quickly. I figured I'd give myself a go at one of these! The Backstory Apparently scientists, using science, have discovered a way to make people act more compassionately. They achieve this by sending electricity through your brain, and then it does stuff, and then you're nicer. The effects last for as long as you're zapping your brain and about 20 minutes after, so there are no long term side effects from the treatment (they did say continuous use might make you a better person, but hey, I consider that a bonus.) Well, if DayZ ever goes standalone, they could add those electricity zapping headbands as a peripheral that you wear while playing, making you less likely to shoot on sight and overall make you a better person. It's a win-win scenario! No game-breaking mechanics are introduced, people can still try really hard to be bandits (or they can just not wear the headband, but hey, that's not cool), and the world becomes a better place! Critiques, comments, cruelties, cans, all are welcome!
