There's nothing stopping anyone from using teamspeak, so I wouldn't say it's an unfair advantage. I have no idea if the person I'm talking to in game also has buddies on teamspeak, who might be watching me as we speak. We might be planning the same things in our respective teamspeak servers. There's also nothing stopping anyone from using their teamspeak a safe distance away from their target, then walking up to them under radio silence. Or they can just turn their mic volume all the way down. All in all, any mod that messes with things in my computer that it's not supposed to mess with (like teamspeak and ventrilo) is a mod that I will avoid. And a lot of others will probably avoid as well. -
I think this would be a nice addition. It'd make you have to be sneakier with your fireplaces. Maybe if it's recent enough it could say something like "This fire is still burning, and look, there are footprints heading to the north!"

SUGGESTION: Character Development (Backstory and Talent/Skill System)

Of all the threads I've read about skill trees, this one is definitely one of the better thought out ones. But, on to my question. How do you think they should show things like when you gain skill points, or when you want to look at your skill tree? They'd have to do it in a manner that doesn't break immersion, because I definitely think that if you're fully immersed in your game when suddenly a message pops up that says "Congratulations! You've leveled up!" would completely ruin your immersion. Maybe have something where you don't get any notifications on when you level up (so there's no annoying pop up) but instead you go to, say, the notes section in your map, and there's a part that says Skill Journal, and if you click on it it's like an actual journal, and says stuff like "I feel rather confident about my mechanics skills", or something. And the more confident you sound in the journal, that means the higher skill you are. I dunno. Forgive the wall of text, I'm a little given to rambling once in a while. -

So we have a lot of canned food, no? Canned Beans, Canned Anchovies, Canned Beans & Franks. So why don't we have any canned fruit? There's no reason that canned fruit wouldn't last as long as canned beans or anchovies. Plus, it prevents scurvy! Maybe someone wants to become a vegetarian survivor, and a beans only diet's become rather boring for them. They can spice it up with some canned pineapples! The canned fruit would have the same spawn rates as any other canned foods. And maybe rocket can add in scurvy, to make fruit more of a necessity. Not sure how difficult that would be but I personally think it'd be interesting. Questions, Comments, Critiques, all are welcome.

Alternative Creepy Music for DayZ

The songs are really good, just a bit curious as to how they might implement them. Maybe have something like once you get closest enough to something (say, a crash site) the music changes? (To crash site, perhaps?) I'm pretty sure they already have a trigger system in Arma so I don't think that would be hard. And I personally think we need more triggered music. -

I believe removing the hourglass when you're unconscious would be interesting. It's not like you know when you fall unconscious "Oh, I'm gonna wake up in 32 seconds," anyways. Plus, it'll add that feel of not knowing whether you're gonna be unconscious for the next 5 seconds or 5 minutes. Questions, comments?

It sounds interesting. You could put it off as, like, the blood of your victims, or the loudness of your heartbeat is attracting the zombies. But a question, by gravitate do you mean that more spawn on you or that the distance from which zombies notice you is enlarged?
