So please write down what you found so far and maybe whats good and whats bad. [And yes, i forgot the "r" in the title] The biggest thing (for me) is the new map - old terrain but lots and lots of new locations, streets and buildings that you can enter. Better graphics and far lower (for now) performance. Nice animations. Very cool looting system, but not that much loot as expected. (and only 3 weapons so far) New weapon modification system. Mhh... and thats it? Please tell me they did more than that in over a year now. My personal opinion on this is, its a nice alpha game (bugs are ok in alpha status, i dont care about them for now[ofc report them]), but not enough stuff for - how long did they work on it? Still looks like some sort of a mod. Main menu is still ArmaII stuff, they just removed the unneccessary parts and rearranged the others (wtf keybindings). Engine seems to be the same. Sometimes this feels worse than the mod way back in 2012. But at the same time I'm impressed by the gameplay, the feeling of it. Its DayZ, definitly. Maybe the lite version for now, but Dean promised to change that soon. I hope he's right :) So what do you think / found out?

Hi there, I recently lost my char after I switched to another server (logged in after patch, connected to random server, played a few minutes with my inventory and changed the server). Maybe it has to do with the char model not changing - it had the standard black female skin all the time, no matter what I did. Now I respawned at the beach with the char I made after starting the game for the first time. I think theres no way to get it back - who else encountered this or a similar problem / bug?

Whats going on with the servers? All servers the game shows me (in Europe) are completely full or empty, absolutely nothing like 7/40 or something like that... Its always 40/40 or 0/40 :/ Yesterday it was fine, today its always like that: Connecting to either empty or full servers gets me a waiting for host or connection failed message

Just make it save to play for now. And by that i mean you dont have to worry about magical char reset after server change and falling uncon forever. (Had to restart from scratch 17 times now but never got killed since i started...)

You have to find the right grip for it (got 4 rails on the grip) I found it today, works fine

Oh wow it happened again, character wiped after I connected to a server.... I think I'll make a bug report about this -.-

One question, V1.8 listed all players who created ammoboxes, inofficial vehicles and pipebomb explosions and so on, the newest version always says "All Clear". But there are enough entries with ammoboxes in the log :/ Tried 2.0, 2.1, several scripts.txt....

We logged out (bcause of this cheater), he logged out. We logged back in. Our killed member spawned in elektro and 3 minutes later a quad SPAWNED right behind him with player "g" (who died a few mins before) and this other godmode guy, he killed "g" again, the other guy took no damage. "g" had full equip again with ghillie, as50, thermal, nvg and so on... Because of no name proof of the third guy i cant post him here, but i banned this "g" [Verified GUID (6deb0bfb8c65c3eee52761cc079672a2) of player #6 g] for teleporting / hacking and the other guy "Dana" [Verified GUID (e84b33f1c8cfa963571f9ad73f274cd4) of player #8 Dana] (confirmed name as he disconnected in front of my mate after teleport/godmode). Same here, nothing changed in over half a month for now (registered my own root server, not a rented gameserver). Is it possible that they got a server cap? Maybe the hive is overloaded or they just got not time for approving all the recent requests?

Yeah, waiting for my ID / files for over a week now, seems that they got a lot of requests or just have no time for approval. Kinda annoying...

Hi there, i was banned from DE95 because i found the server's clans home - ALL!!! vehicles from the map, including 3 helis and about 30 tents with lots of (duped? 50 NVG's in one tent...) stuff in there... Just wanted to fly one of that helis, started it, about 1 minute ago a nice little message appears "you were banned... blablah ... reason "HACKING!!!" or something like this... THIS IS CRAP! That clan is cheating by "stealing and hoarding" all vehicles of the map an then banning all people who are "stealing" the vehicles from the clans base. Unban possible? Maybe blacklist of that server? They are still online, restarting the server for item duping and banning every player who disconnects during fight - and they disconnect if shot... No chance that a server gets blacklisted because of admin abuse. Admins out there, i think for the moment you can do whatever you want. Have fun! -.-*

I made one, waiting for an answer since they banned me. But its really hard to show you hard facts - for example these guys spawning vehicles or actually banning for nothing directly recorded - because i cant record and watch them all day long. The longer this lasts the more i think this is a bit of a freeform for all server admins to do whatever they want to. Nobody can do a sh** about it, the dev's response time is waaay too long. But its not a problem of the dev's or the creator of this mod, this is a problem placed in the community / people who play it. Since i opened this thread i got dozens of PM's to give out the locations of the camps with cheated loot, almost everytime they write something about "want to destroy that camp". Hell yeah who cares, you are just some more cheater like parasites that want to get "rich" by abusing the system. The devs dont care about some ppl abusing the system as long as the mod isnt finished at all, they got other things in mind. If they fix the duping bugs and all the other ones, this problem will fade out.

@1: Yes sir, you are completely right. I we found your camps using a maybe hacked chopper - which we got from YOU after we killed you and your 3 clanmates @ NE airfield after your landing. @2: Serverhopping is a damn thing. I was really annoying to fight you and your mates logging on and off all the time. Maybe one of us disconnected a bit too early. But you and your mates disconnected AND ghosted all the time. Funny to see how you are angry after we blew up your camp :P And for cheats, can you tell me how you got my name the first time you banned me while i was flying your chopper? Nametags are disabled. Ok and now this is an official war declaration on your server and your [//edit "clan" missing here] until it gets blacklisted. (<--Please do it FAST!) 15 kills for us for now, 2 for you. You see, cheating doesn't make you better. Last answer to you, i'll follow the rules "don't feed the troll".

OK guys here you go: As you can see, some hacked in stuff, lots of duped or cheated loot, a dead body of their clan (they said they dont know any base on their server? hahahah) and the servers tag. And this is only 1 of 2 camps, the second one got all the other vehicles from dayz. Later this day we killed their clan - INCLUDING ALCATRAZ - several times in this camp, can upload it too if you wish. Funny thing was, every time we killed them they got there in about 10 minutes - this camp is far up north beyond the printed map border. We shot them from 600m away, all 4 shot back in about 2 seconds. How the hell could they know from where we were shooting (out of the forest)?!? At the end we looted all of their satchels and blew up the base (BIG BOOOOM with >50 satchels :D - see picture below) Now you got your proof, please blacklist their server and ban the whole clan, especially Alcatraz126 and the GM guy. Damn hackers.

Ok got the final conformation of his admin abuse, just search for his other posts. Said more then once that he would ban ppl for d/c and i am not the first one who found their camp and got banned. Hahah and the last time he changed the server's name, too. Just search for his posts. No chance that any main admin / dev reading this thread here to blacklist them?

Clan moved their base, all flying around in a new heli... Saw them again, 4 people of their clan with Aclatraz126 on board. The whole clan is cheating / hoarding vehicles and flying around with helis, banning people who are stealing them. And they disconnect from death and relocate on other servers. Got that on tape with some friends, with their names. All liars, damn cheater clan / server. Uploading 3 videos tonight of their heli action. PLEASE blacklist them. @Mourek: You are right, banning for disconnecting is forbidden. A Dev posted it in the forums.

I didnt get banned the first day. All what i know is that your admin - yeah alcatraz you are in that clan too - said he tried to ban me. I didnt know anything about it until he said it, no ban the first day. Ah and one last addition - this clan moved their base, a friend killed one one them in it after all tents destroyed and 20+ vehicles were gone. Heli is still there. + They kick for members. Also not allowed.

Haha ok then tell me one thing please: You told me you tried to ban me a day before for disconnecting (what isnt true - AAAND its NOT an official ban reason too!!!!). Ok but you tried to ban me while i was shooting at a flying heli in the night. And you say you did never see a heli before on your server? Aha and why didnt you ban the guy who was flying it that day before? And why were you there, in the middle of nowhere and knowing about me shooting at a flying heli when you didnt know about helis and never be in one on your server????? hahahahaha i think it was your heli and you were in it, otherwise you couldnt know about me shooting it. May be wrong, but its reeeeally suspicious what you talked about and what you did. And again, you are not allowed to ban people for disconnecting and so on. Ok their clan got some ammoboxes in that base and all stuff from dayz in the tents (a friend looked after it some mins ago), we talked to their admin on teamspeak an its definitely their clan who is cheating. First he said something like heli's re impossible and he doesnt know about any base, later he said something like "did you remove stuff from the ammoboxes and drove the trucks", but i didnt say a freaking word about any trucks and ammoboxes... And he said that he was flying the heli a day ago as i shot it... and tried to ban me... damn bastard Please ban that hacker clan / server

A few minutes ago i was sitting in a bush with my ghillie, covering a mate who was looting the barracks at NWAF. Was nighttime on server. Suddenly a player, npc or something "spawned" right in front of me in clean white clothes. Looked like those full body takistan desert clothes. My heart stopped like a minute or so :D . He / it walked a few meters, stood there a minute or so and disappeared without noticing me. Just to frighten my mate inside the barracks, then despawned again. Had no backpack, no weapon, not even a playername or something as an overlay. Was really scary as hell :D

Hi there, today i was on a server at green mountain, walking slowly inside the big antenna building. Suddenly my body didnt react to my keyboard anymore and it began dancing around, gesticulate wildly... [it was a REAL dancing animation] ...slowly through the walls, in the open field, through the walls of the next building. Couldnt do anything, it didnt react. Disconnecting and reconnecting solved it. What the heck was that?

THIS! Exactly! Even if it was a hacking player - i hope this thing makes it into the game as ghost :D [And in that case congrats to the hacker. You finally scared a lot of players like in no other game' date= keep on! :rolleyes: ] Its scary as hell - and funny too :D

The weird thing is that this guy isnt just a player who got a wrong model, he just appears in your back, walks very slowly in your sight and scares the hell out of you, then disappears. You cant hit em too. In combination with those mysterious radios playing weird messages found by some players.... this is really really scary!
