Players going insane on too many player kills

When will you people get it. There are no "certain playstyles" there is one playstyle. The gamemode this game currently supports. "Free for all deathmach unless you know the guy". That's the only viable "playstyle" at the moment and either you follow it or you die continuously. There needs to be some sort of disadvantage to killing on sight because that's the safest but the least humane way of surviving. That would create two groups. Those who don't want to deal with it and kill people and those who do. Right now there are bandits or dead people, not bandits or survivors. -

What? You just died because you didn't see the guy not because you were logging out. What are you talking about? And your solution doesn't cut it. What about people disconnecting after killing someone from your group, seeing you, or getting shot at without getting damaged? -
It works like that. Go to stary take everything out of the tents into a big pile, come back in 5 minutes and there will be new loot. Risky but worth it sometimes. Feels like grinding. Has good and bad things to it.

Server hopping and combat logging is the cancer of this game. One time I was in the southern barracks on the airfield during night ( I had NVGs), I checked them, walked just outside and started reading my map. Before going somewhere else I take a glimpse inside and there is a guy inside checking the rooms even tho I'm standing in the door. Good thing he didn't have an NVG and I wasn't moving or I'd be dead. Thanks for all the stanag mags btw. There should be at least a small timer to log out. Like 10 seconds or so. At least those who disconnect while getting shot at would die. -

WTF first you say that you understand what I'm talking about but then you clearly don't. Holy shit. Read my posts again. All those people going "fuck it I'm a bandit now, done trying being friendly" are complaining how that's the only viable way of playing. How many times do I have to explain that? In other words they are saying "the gamemode of the game is stupid" read between the lines of what they are doing. -

Going in circles. You are telling people to stop making threads complaining about the gamemode of an alpha. Because the behavior they hate (and supposedly complaing about) is supported by the game, not a choice really. It's feedback. Alpha is for hearing feedback. It's like telling people not to report bugs during alpha/beta. -

I do understand what you are going about. But you are wrong. You think those people complain about other people's behavior. But it's not other people's behavior. It's the gamemode of dayz. People who killed those who make threads didn't choose to play "free for all deathmatch unless you know the person". They have to play it like that or die like those who make those threads. -

They think they are better because they like the game as it is for some reason. Liking lack of features or broken features makes them badass or something. Yes and all those people posting hate how "free for all deathmatch unless you know the person" is the gamemode of dayz. Why didn't you get it yet? -
You forgot an option "they need to be tougher". I want more zombies that take more bullets to kill but aren't faster than the player. The sight needs to be slightly nerfed but I think that's been taken care of.

... you still don't get it? I have to explain it detail now? I thought I could just give you a generalization. Okay then. Right now there is only one valid way of playing. Shoot on sight. If you don't, you die. And not sooner or later. You just die. Because everyone else already does that. There are no bandits and survivors. There is "free for all deathmatch unless you are on a teamspeak or something like that with that person" mode in this game. People think it's bullshit and they express it on the forums. It's called, negative feedback. And there is nothing weird or wrong about negative feedback during alpha. And it doesn't have to be a suggestion. Just "this is bad/wrong" and "something has to be done about x". -

Hm you made it seem like you are smart. I guess you were just trying to make yourself look like that. Okay so I'll explain. The game is in ALPHA stage. That's when try out new things, you add and take away features and see the feedback from the community. Sometimes a game will just lack a feature and the community will talk about it. And so they do. There is nothing wrong with that. You aren't better than them because you like it the way it is. You have your opinion and they have their opinion. Stop being a self-righteous baron. -

People with low humanity should have some negative consequences. Shoot on sight is safer compared to checking whether someone is hostile or not. They also get the loot. I'd make them need alcohol or drugs. That would make bandits need one more thing to stack and it would increase bandit vs bandit fights. -

It's not the problem of being recognized or not. It's the problem of having absolutely no consequences for killing on sight. Our characters lack conscience because nobody's gonna feel bad about frags. If you'd want this to be more realistic our characters would have to have some sorf ot conscience meter and penalty for having it low. -
I see the difference, you people don't. I've made a post about how zed aggro could be improved and people told me to suck it up, stop complaining because it's alpha. You make it sound like you are only talking to the second kind but you threat everyone who doesn't like something like he's complaining. I've seen replies like "stop complaining, it's alpha" under constructive criticism and suggestions.

Except everytime someone says that he doesn't like something in this game or when he think something should be improved or that there is a bug you people tell him "stop complaining, it's alpha". Alpha is about getting feedback. We are testing the game. Crucial part of testing is feedback. Intruduce new mechanic and people will talk about it. Take it away and people will talk about it. That's what the alpha is for. To put something in the game and see what people think about it. You are the one missing the point. The point of an alpha. Of course that's excluding threads like "I've lost my gear due to bug". Those are the ones you are supposedly talking about but you threat everyone like that a second later.

So when a game is in alpha you can't talk about bugs and undeveloped or wrong features? Weird I thought that's the point of alpha.

I feel like visibility is increased by 30% now, which isn't much problem (excluding insane aggro on roads and stuff like that, I mean you can aggro something from over 100 meters).And I honestly hate how infected are twice as fast as me. Running through bushes that makes them stop and run repeatedly is a bug in their AI not something positive. Also to people saying that you can loose zombies by running around corners. How is that helping you if he's 1 meter behind you and keeping up? If there is 20 of them, you will loose some of them but not all of them. You'll still need to kill few of them.

Except it's not realistic because you don't have conscience in game or any feelings for other people. You don't feel it's wrong to kill someone in game as you'd think it in RL do you? If there is no difference to kill pixels and people for you, you should get help. There needs to be a conscience meter or something similar, that wouldn't brand but give some concequences if low.
