Don't think it will get stickied again the developers want to hide this thread have you ever seen rockets youtube videos it shows how much they love pvp

The only reason i got arma 2 was for the fact that there was a mod called dayz with zombie survival. arma2 is a terrible first person shooter. everyone i know hated arma 2 and only got it after they heard about dayz but now none of them play cause this game is troll death match and not zombie survival so i dont see it lasting. if this game stays like this i definately wont buy arma 3 to play this

Right now with how the game is currently being run admins have no way to police there servers. Trolls are rampant and about 90% of the player base are murderers and bandits. You cant set up a base camp or a tent anywhere since you can easily loot it and steal all the gear. Nonstop cheating and hacking going even on my server ive seen people blow up all the buildings in elektro and that shouldnt be posible with the way stuff spawns and they did that in 1 hour period of time. you cant walk into a general store hospitol or any town without finding barbwire or bandits every where. This is just another Team deathmatch game with the game being one sided for bandits and survivors just get a pick axe in the begining if there lucky to find one.Those who say pvp is the most important thing in this game then whats the point in zombie survival. After this last update makes me feel that rocket and the devs are purposfully putting in stuff for trolls to play with like another useless item the bear trap

its like team death match in a way survivor cant kill survivor but can kill bandit and bandit cant kill bandit but survivor. This is an easy solution not the best one. there is lots of stuff that can be done i just have an issue with how pvp is now. its broken but i believe it can be made better. Yes i want to play survivor and i want to be a bandit but because there realy are no rules other then the ones set up to ban server admins for kicking or banning trolls nothing will get fixed. The entire comunity doesnt want pvp look at some other games out there like WOW it hase pve and pvp servers most of there servers are pve. A bandit shouldnt be rewarded for killing people and it should be much harder to play as a bandit. I would love to see some bandit only gear to show up make it more interesting Player saved data should be saved server side not on a centralized server that just promotes cheating. disconnecting when about to get shot and server hopping to get gear. Seerver hop to move past a barricade some one put up to protect there tent. People hacking in game. These are just a few of the problems

An easy solution make it so players can choose what side they want to be on when you creat your character like male or female give them the option of Bandit or survivor with there own skin for the side there on. After they removed all the gear from new players like the pistol its harder to now find a weapon and the axe doesnt count cause it sucks. You have to run through a town and hope you find a pistol or an axe if you want to survive. Dont forget all citys of worth on the coast are full of player trolls sticking barb wire in the doorway of every building so they can snipe you alot easier. now with bear traps the trolling will intensify with bear traps in doorways now or around where noobs are running. Trolls just love to kill people with nothing on them cause they have nothing else to make them feel like the big man on the block

nihilistic what you post shows your a troll and a griefer what you say in the posts just prove that its people like you that ruin these games for other people i have no problem with pvp i just want an option to turn it off so people who enjoy this game but not pvp can do so instead of dealing with little kids on the net trolling people ruining there exsperiance

another reason why trolls are ruining this game

This game will always have trolls and griefers. The way the game is now you cant prevent trolls and there ruining this game everyone talking about how pvp is needed. its not needed at all the game says zombie survival not team death match. I dont play this game to run around and get gear to have it all going missing cause some hacker can find your tent and steal your stuff or they run out to debug forest to kill everyone and run back to the normal map. Put player profile saves on the server you play on get rid of the centralized server for player data it promotes easy cheating by server hopping eather to get gear or to bypass a barbwire fence some one placed to defend there base with. There is no point in hosting a server all your doing is wasting your money to pay for a service you have zero controll of. All the best areas are camped by trolls and griefers just waiting to shoot you so trying to find anything is pointless. And if your lucky to find something a sniper will take it from you so you might as well stay in the forest for your entire life. I had a clan who enjoyed playing this game but all of them stopped playing dayz after dying to stupid griefers and trolls. I dont play this game to do pvp i actualy hate pvp it ruins games and the only people left playing are the trolls online

If i wanted to play a game and deal with trolls id go play WOW. The way this game is headed the only players still playing it will be nubs trolls and griefers. The pvp aspect of a zombie survival game is great but there are people who hate pvp games and will drop it like most of my friends have. You cant go anywhere without being shot by a sniper and in all major cities you cant enter any building since there is barbwire and tank traps in all the doorways. You cant make a base camp since anything to place can be circumvented by just going to another server and walk 5 feet and log back on to previous server and you got past the barricade. It would be nice to give the servers the option to have player pvp or pve type servers. Player gear and spawn location should be saved on the server you play alot not on a centralized server it just alows people to server hop and farm gear without doing any work. This latest patch added a new griefer item the bear trap i cant wait for the servers to have hundreds of them all over in cherno and elektro. so for my final statement pvp should be set so servers can turn it off if you dont want to play pvp at all and yes this post will get flamed from the 90% troll community :@
