Hello, I was just on your server and killed by a hacker. I noticed you don't tolerate them so I thought I'd report it. His name was Diglet. I was running far, far west of Zelenogorsk up the western border searching for bases. Out of nowhere, a player named Diglet began to run around me. I watched him for a little, unable to hear his voice messages, then killed him. As soon as I shot him, I too keeled over and died. I did not start bleeding or lose blood or heard a shot. I simply, just died on the spot. I then preceeded to die 5 more times on the respawn screen as did a player called Broken Scarlet. You can check your logs between 6:15pm and 6:30pm AEST to see all these kill messages, hope the fag gets banned. Thanks.

Hi guys! Been playing a few days now and I'm quite sick of being alone. I've got a decent setup going in NZ 9 and would like to get a few friends to go around with or join a clan. I play mainly Australian servers but of late I seem to get awesome ping on NZ ones. If I die I'll probably change servers if someone will have me. Also just a few q's - does your body stay in the game after total log out? - do you still get the bandit skin after murders? Thanks folks!

By any chance did you find that rifle near Pavlovo? I ran into a sniper who dropped it for me, with close to 15 mags I think. I picked it up, perhaps it lagged and you got a lagged duplicate? I tried picking up a tent as loot in Zelenogorsk supermarket and due to lag ended up with 5 of the fuckers

Today marks this char's 20th day alive in the DayZ wilderness. Something of a milestone as my average was usually on 5-6 days. Pretty happy! Although I have spent the last 2 days trekking through the coast and larger cities in search of more ammo.. For those curious, zombie kills are 100+ and murders are only 2. Murder the first was nearly a week ago after my gf was slain by a man in a ghillie suit, I took revenge. Murder two was only last night in Elektro as a friend was being fired upon. If a newbie is going to read this, look, I'm by no means saying I'm a veteran. Been to airfields only once or twice and I really only have memorised a few bicycle spawns around Cherno to get myself around if need be. I would suggest living to the North or West of Berenizo and making supply runs as needed and having a knife/matches/hatchet for living off animals. That said I think I've run to Kamenka now, lol. Above all.. You really do need luck. And NVG's. :L I'm sure for some, 20 days are not impressive and you've been alive 60. But 20 is pretty damn good for me :D But yeah. Quite chuffed I made 20 days finally :) Good luck to all fellow survivors!

A buddy of mine as set up a private hive server (filter for skippy) basically, I can't join. I simply get the connecting failed message as do all of our friends. We'd love to setup a private server for us and anyone else willing to come play but need to get it running smoothly. Any tips on how to get around connecting failed and general smoothing out tips? Help appreciated!

Just saw that in the Russian section they have a thread for 1.7.3 updates, translated a bit of it etc.. Just wondering if they perhaps operate to a different timeframe and their 1.7.3 is our 1.7.2.5, or if perhaps in a few days there'll be a 1.7.3 in the English announcements section? Just curious. Would love to see an update to fix tent/car inventories and random spawns at the coast as those are my only gripes with this game. Obviously will take the devs time etc, fully understand. Thanks!

Our story begins yesterday in Elektro. My girlfriend and I logged in to a server and found it wasn't what we liked (I have a very tempermental connection and average graphics) so we switched servers. We joined one with much more stable feel for me, but noticed both of us were spawned at the coast, she at Otmel, myself at Krutoy Cap. Well what do you know? I simply turn around and there they are, a bicycle and offroad ute, full of gear. Checked grid refs and drove to pick her up. Full tank of petrol to, thankyou kind bandit sir. It was fast approaching night time so we parked the ute in a dense forest, hopefully away from prying eyes. Took our fill from the gear and went to find a day time server since on our last engagement she was killed and lost NVG's. We log in. And what are we looking at? But a tent, wedged between some trees. Whats in it you say? Three. Yes (3) NVG's and thirty-six, YES (36) ghillie suits + a small assortment of weapons. Unable to believe our luck we packed our bags full and decided to disconnect as such good luck was sure to end badly. To the obvious tent duper - guys like you ruin the game but make players like us that have never had a ghillie before rather happy when we get the chance to try it out, even if it is ill gotten gear. So in the same breath, GTFO, but thanks.

After a gps + nvgs. A thrown in a ghillie would be cool but that's probably to much. If you want to trade shoot me a PM, will be online for an extra hour. Thanks!

And coincidentally the server you met me in was the server I went down in, in the first place. Had I have finished my looting I could have had a ghillie :P enjoy it friend, will keep your details. Hope you stay in the north east area.

Guy called Kowalski responded to my earlier post back a page or two, was en route within 10 minutes and gave me a much needed transfusion and piece of food within 20. Top bloke, professional, very helpful. Would give him my beans, deserves a whitelist spot!

Just wondering how essential engine parts are. I just want to move my vehicle I've found to a safer spot, have all necessary parts bar engine. Was thinking maybe without the engine the vehicle might do 5mp/h or something? Or is the engine required for any movement at all?

Bloods dropped to 2200. Had two zeds pursuing me, ran into an apartment block. Thought sure, it'll take them at least 3 minutes to wander up two floors. Wrong. About 10 seconds after entering the building I turn around and witness them run through the 2ND STORY WALL and start laying into me. Dispatching them cost me. I'm laid up on the roof of this particular building and consider it unsafe to move. I have a blood bag on me if required. Can provide screenshot of map location and will probably only be around for another hour tonight. Whitelisted medics/kind hearted souls preferred, thanks!

So here I am, bumming around Kamenka after dying. Next thing I know this guy Winslow pulls up beside me in UAZ, let's me take some gear and offers to drive me to wherever I need to go. Along the way he picks up another fresh spawn and kills two snipers. Unfortunately somewhere near Berenizo, a third sniper shot and killed me. Only had that char for 40 mins but boy it was interesting. Thanks Winslow. Proof there are brilliant players in the game!
