  1. i read something about underground, but with instances. so you go into a "door" and "warp" to an other map.

    why not try to get this from vbs2 ? look at video at 4:50min. that would be really great to have "save-zones"

    i even hope this is in arma3.

    hope this get in the dayz standalone version!!

    Play withSIX DayZ 1.7.2.5 (PreRelease) support!

    We're currently still not authorized by DayZ team to push 1.7.2.5 en-mass, as such we've added multi-version support to Play withSIX.

    A new update for Play withSIX has been released that supports the DayZ v1.7.2.5 pre-release mod version!

    You can control which mod version to use in the Game section option "Update to PreRelease versions" (for now restart after changing).

    Currently there are no plans to add this support to SIX Launcher and Updater, as full focus is on Play withSIX which replaces SIX Launcher already, and will soon replace SIX updater also.

    i really hope this disconnect "cheat" will end soon. dont get it that ppl always go the easy way. if you get attaked , deal with it.

    there has to be a countdown to log back in. and 5 min would be grat. so pll think twice to "not disconnect"

    how can your fps be "much worse" when you not even ingame ??

    makes no sense.

    btw. wait till server are fully updated. takes a bit , as there are 1000s of servers.

    its still an alpha and things can go wrong but there for its an alpha. and its free.


  5. not that they just disconnect at PVP. look hear. they disconnect from zombies 3-4 times in 20 minutes !!!

    that really has to be stoppt.

    would be ok to wait minimum 5min before you can spawn back in. also that the caracter stays at least 1 min wound/die-able ingame.

    it really really sucks that pll behave like this.

    are you coding the mod, or is rocket coding themod ? he can decide whats going in or out the mod.

    its alpha remember, its a test-bed for a future final version.

    seriously, we don´t need post like your´s and many other in that direction you went.

    i am looking forward to every single change. some are great, some i have to deal with.

    btw. beartraps will be very rar, and you can disable them with toolbox (and you only can place them with the toolbox)

    and let rocket do his job, he will say something when its time to ;)


  8. Easiest way ....

    Put a 1 - 2 min time so that your character stays put 1 - 2 mins AFTER you log out BY ANY MEANS.

    This way you are pretty much force to go fine a safe place so log before you actually log out.

    this would be really good. there is no problem to go into wood, lay below a tree and than log saftly out. as i do always.

    you see here how often they diconnect and reconnect ingame. i really hate such behaviour. think i was 3-4 times in 20min video !

    it would even be good to go up to 5 min or more that you can go again ingame.

    like how the 1.7.2 will be. thx for your hard work rocket !

    Yeah, I felt mildly disgusted after reading what this guy posted. People really do forget that they are TESTING a MOD that is in ALPHA stages. Sure, rage the fuck out if this happens when the MOD is full release but really dude? You're going to complain about that in Alpha? Holy shit that is low. Also, losing 30$? You do realize Arma 2 has a million other things you can do? Right guys? Right.....

    its exactly as you said it. you can do so many things in arma.

    PLUS: 30 dollar for a game you already played more hours than in other games they cost much more ! normal playtime of a game 6hours (singleplayer) so the money is never wasted if you buy BIS products ;)

  10. I uninstalled Arma II and DayZ. I am going to take a break until the game and mod because more stable. For me personally it's more frustrating trying to play the game then enjoying it.

    you are an alpha tester. but you did know that from beginning.

    if you want something to be fixed / changed you have to play it

    like it is.

    it came in my mind , if you set the date in teh mission on a date where the moonphase is on full moon, everybody would see enough. or is that already set ?

    since in arma the moonphase its calculated in realtime that would be great to have that in the mission also. like sometimes you can see, sometimes you can see bad.

    more immersion ingame ;)

    this is a really great error report :D sixshooter never heard of that! and what sort ? maybe you should report this in troubleshooting in a proper way,

    arma2 has a real moon time. that means, if you put in correct date in the mission than you can look at your calender and expect what moonphase you have and how much you see at night !!

    so if the mission-files are updated in that case you will have nights you see good and nights you can´t see anything like in reallife. als if you have clouds its even getting darker.

    also in arma the ebb and flow/high and low tide are calculated in realtime. ah and you can navigate by starts in night with north star.

    so if its liek this ingame - deal with it !!

    that would be a good idea. if you went in negative humanity you should get a respawn timer. per 1000 negative humanity points you get an 30-60min !

    pll are prolling sometimes in chat, " i have 12000 negative humanity, i am a real good shooter"

    so these guys get that 6-12 hours. would be fair to pll playing it as a team !!

    so if you killed a lot you have to respawn for long ;)

    wouldn´t change the playstyle, but would stop pll playing DM !

  15. have has with a friend of mine fps drops down to 10-15. normally 50-60fps.

    was at the fuelstation right side of gorka. didn´t do anything special' date=' it just dropped

    when we where close to each other after meeting there.

    anyone also got these fps drops ?

    otherwise its great so far, but the respawn of zombies if you cleared it is to fast, i think.

    just die a disconnect after the fps drops, and didnt close the game. than i went back on server, and suddenly i did have an fps of 7-9.

    so there is somthing going on, but i dont know what.

    can anybody confirm such fps-drops ?
