Also confirming persistent artifacting, tested in Berezino. One difference is notable; they appear less aggressively when first encountered, and then, in stages, progress toward total view obfuscation. Thanks for working on it though! Also, I hope my shemagh stays, I look totally badass.

Further Hacking on US 470 Atlanta today, at 1400 GMT. Military Ural drove around elektro attempting to run myself and a friend over. I managed to jump into the truck (unaware at that time that the camo painted ones are illegitimate). He jumped out after about 30 seconds, and tried to shoot me as I drove away. I picked up my friend, and we drove 500m out of town to check the truck's contents. It was at this moment that we both realized we were unable to exit the vehicle. We logged out and back in, and discovered a massive load of ammo for weapons not found in Day Z. Shortly thereafter, the hacker appeared, and killed us both with a suppressed G36-C, with an Eotech Holo sight. After respawning, I was suddenly gifted with an AS-50, 1911, M4A1 SD, Coyote pack, all survival gear, NVGs and a rangfinder, 3 steaks, 3 blood bags, and an epipen. About a minute later, all gear items were removed, excepting the backpack and its contents. Then, approximately 3 minutes later, I was struck dead. A player named Cy left the server, and nothing out of the ordinary was seen thereafter.

Server : US 470 Atlanta Time: 1200-1300 (GMT) What happened: An Invisible player made himself known in the middle of our group, everyone logged out safely. The server was soon repeatedly kicked by battleye for "script restriction #55". It seemed as thought only two players were unaffected by these purges, by the names of Cody and Ory. One of the perpetrators was decked out in a Ghillie suit, brandishing an MP5SD6. He teleported in behind us (visibly) and approached. I watched in astonishment as one of my partners dumped a full magazine of 5.45 into his chest.The only response from the target was one of mild inconvenience, in what sounded like a British accent; "Dont shoot people, its not nice." We were taking silenced fire from elsewhere beyond him, and he told us "dont mind the retard behind me." We did mind him, and as we were escaping in our nearby vehicle, the speaker repeatedly teleported infront of us down the road, at which point we learned he was also immune to a full ton of steel hitting him at 90 km/h. We could hear him speaking faintly, and were able to make out one other sentence; "Dont run from the free stuff genie". Whether he would have spawned whatever we asked for was unclear, but the value of what we stood to lose certainly was. Also, a few hours earlier, the entire server was teleported about 500m above what looked like electro; luckily I logged out before getting a much better look. This is unrelated, but I felt I should share it. A friend of mine also experienced a server convening, only all players were transformed into rabbits, and the venue seemed to be a field filled with bear traps. I know its wrong, and extremely stressful for all the hours of equiptment gathering wasted, but that is just hilarious. At least they're getting creative with the doucebaggery, eh?

This idea occurred to me at work recently, as we rely heavily on these simple, inexpensive, yet critically helpful devices. I think they would be a very nice mid-tier night aid that is far more user-friendly than the torch, but not nearly so rare as NVGs. IMO, they should have a very wide, shallow cone of illumination, to make them more useful when navigating indoors, and perhaps to avoid rendering the G17 lamp / Military Flashlight obsolete as mid-range illuminators. Also, get out of here STALKER!
