Very weird "ARMA2 OA exe stopped working" on startup..

So basically,i have a very weird issue. I have been playing this mod for 1 month no issues whatsoever. Today i start up as usual,manually from my directory of the game with "Launch ARMA 2 oa beta patch shortcut". I get to the little tick thing,then a black screen for 1-2 seconds,than ARMA 2 stopped working.Weird thing is,when i try running ARMA 2 combined operations without beta patch or dayz from my steam library,it loads no issues whatsoever. It happened to me a few hours ago today again,i fixed it somehow(deleted beta folder in directory reinstalled it,veryfied integrity of cache,it magically worked) What i've tried. Re-installing all dayz files and beta files using (http://www.dayzwiki....RMA2_Beta_patch). Veryfying integrity of both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA in steam(they re-acquired some files). Running Everything possible as admin. Haven't tried restarting my PC since morning. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I AM DYING TO PLAY THIS!!!I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THE ISSUE?!?!??! -

You're lucky,my game won't even start,as it "ARMA 2 OA exe has stopped working" on start-up,after magically working for 2 months without any flaws. -

Can anyone help? Little more information: ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA run fine without mods/beta. When i try to launch ARMA 2 OA with dayz through dayz commander/manually through the directory shortcut for "Launch ARMA 2 oa beta patch" i get the little line with the ticks loading,they load,and the the screen goes black,and then 1-2 seconds in with nothing else but black screen,the game returns to desktop,saying "Arma 2 OA exe has stopped working" with the error in OP. I have actually fixed that yesterday,what i did : Deleted the beta folder in expansion,the @DayZ folder in expansion,the @DayZ folder in arma 2 oa,the arma 2oa beta .exe,and afterwards i tried veryfying the integrity of both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA,it said it re-acquired some files,afterwards i ran ARMA 2 OA with no problems whatsovere but only vanilla arma 2 OA,no mods/beta. Afterwards i installed the dayz files,and then the latest beta. Then ran "Launch ARMA 2 OA beta w/e" as administrator,and it loaded in with everything,and i played for 2 hours.After quiting the game,i had to take a break,20 min afterwards,i try running the game again,the same way decsribed as above.I get the same "Arma 2 OA exe has stopped working" again.I tried deleting the files described above again,and basically doing the same again,but upon veryfying the cache for ARMA 2 OA,it said 120 files will be re-acquired and started downloading 4.5gb of files,and i haven't touched it since. Can anyone help me please?I really want to play,and i do not understand what my issue is,i have played the game before perfectly fine...Please help me. -

The game DayZ will have a highly discounted price,and will not be released as a ready game.It will be released in alpha/beta,and will follow the Minecraft model. For the people un-familiar with Minecraft model : Game in early alpha,but playable,highly discounted (because of it's alpha version),and constant updates,alpha>beta>finished game.Alot of small and big updates,but playable during the development. -

Okay,am i the only one who thinks : 1.You bleed from 1 shot from a zombie.Reduce the chance from just 1 hit. 2.You bleed out blood TOO FAST.As this is a simulation,you will NOT bleed out so fast,unless you have damage in some main artery or something.Otherwise you will bleed out very slowly.In-game you bleed out ridiculously fast.You bleed out so fast that - if you get hit by a zombie and stop to shoot it/attack it,and by the time you finish (cause of the retarded running of the zombies AND speed)you will be in pretty bad condition.Basically yesterday - Ran from a zombie,stopped to kill it,get one hitted - bleed (was on full health) - by the time i manage to kill him and patch myself up i was at 10k!!! What the hell! The proccess was no longer than 7-8 seconds!! What the actual ****.Imagine you don't have a bandage,you aren't provided a chance to atleast start searching for one.You will die within 30 seconds if you bleed and don't bandage. That's not realistic.

Guys,when you are looking at in-game map,the big grids,are 0 to 015 both horizontal and vertical coords,in the game's boundaries?Safe to put tents in there? -

By "Outside map boundaries" do you mean the in-game map boundaries? Cause for example this map shows these boundaries (http://dayzdb.com/map#4.029.026) BUT the INGAME map is a little bigger.Should we reffer to the INGAME map boundaries? -
I have a M4A1 CCO SD with 3 mags for it. I wish to trade it for ghillie/nvg or tent or offer.No weapons are wanted.

No.Hell no. Why do you cry so much? If you really want to play night time - you will simply will! I don't have NVG's,yet i play on night time,simply cause i like it.I entered NW airfield without NVG's.So what? Don't fucking cry about it. Seriosly guys,retarted whining like yours,will ruin the game.

What is going on with all this lag? Me and a friend joined a server "EU2" by CQF and Vylaier or w/e,and the lag was ridiculous! It was like "We see a car,i press enter as passanger".I see the animation for getting in a vehicle,yet i still stay outside it and pull my main weapon?! What he sees is me in the vehicle?But i am outside?That goes for apx - 1 min. And i can continue the list. Example - I see the car wheels going,but we stay in one place.He sees that he is driving? We d/c and the waiting for host screen was there for like 3 min. We tried other servers,same result.

Hey guys, I have been enjoying DayZ since early May.I like it most as it is now.(Spawning with no gun,etc) Anyways down to the point - I have managed to get myself good gear - AK 74 Cobra + 20 mags G17 + 10 mags Plenty of morhpine supplies Plenty of blood bags Knife + Hatchet = endless food Map,compass - standar stuff The Big Coyote backpack - biggest in game i believe And i am happy with my gear as it is now.Only thing i am trying to find is GPS/NVG(tried finding heli crashes,server had none spawned "sigh" :D ) And possibly camo/ghillie,but that's not my main concern,i can live without it. My question is - What do i do now?Kill bandits?Become a bandit?Lone wolf?Search for something? I like helping people,so i made a reply in the medical help thread if anyone needs help i'll gladly help. Any other ideas?

It was indeed awesome.Once we were in the offices/school,there was 1 guy in the store,1 in the streets randomly running and most of us around 6 were in the school.We got fired at from both of the firestations and you,and the guy who did overwatch with the lee enfield on the hill,got so much agro,i don't remember if he survived.The first guy fell,yeah,it was pretty hilarious from our view too :D Several of us got killed from you,i got wounded and 1 got shot by a different shooter by the firestation.I managed to kill him,and yeah.It was pretty intense.But the axe guy,who went 2nd up the ladder,didn't cheat,you probably missed him..Anyway it was awesome,true DayZ paranoic/firefight moment. -
Me and a few fellow CQF members started our adventure by meeting up in the barn north of elektro.We were 7 people,everyone had a gun and a good backpack but 1 guy who was freshly respawned.We made a plan that we would do a quick raid of the powerplant firestation - supermarket - hospital and we will go north.Oh boy,if we knew what was ahead.... We reached the firestation,nothing in there,someone looted it before us.One guy left and went up the hill to provide overwatch,he had a ghillie suit,so we were pretty confident he won't get spotted easily...10 min after he left we are still in the firestation,and we hear gunshots.After a few of them,we see our friend's name "got killed".We knew it was bad.We knew someone knew we were here.We decided to move and proceed to the store.We went in there,nothing there aswell,someone looted it.We proceeded to hospital,when we saw a face pop out of the roof of the hospital,with a gun aiming at us.We quickly ran into the office,luckily no agro on us.We started saying "Friendly,friendly" in chat,no response.We quickly got a "response" when one guy went to the 3rd floor and got out on the roof.He was shot dead on sight.We then knew we had bandit problems.Everyone took positions,and me and a friend went on the 3rd floor roof,behind the walls crouching.We hear gunfire,this time from behind and the side.We quickly spot a guy on the firestation on the roof and a guy on the powerplant firestation roof.They both got AK's,and it was pretty intense.Most of us had shotguns,only 1 guy had a M16 and another had a Lee Enfield.The M16 guy and I went to try and kill the guys in the firestations,staying on the same roof of the office.We get shot at - i drop down with a bullet in my back,wounded,my friend drops dead in the second,a fatal wound in the head.He says to me over TS "Grab my gun and backpack,defend yourself guys - a pause - Good luck!"I grab his M16 and his coyote backpack(the biggest one).Steady and calm from the adrenaline,i stand up,take aim at the one of the firestation's,spot the guy,we can see we both aimed at each other.For a second,we just stayed there,aiming at each other,i didn't want to shoot,probably he regretted shooting too...And then 3 shots of my M16 emerge from the quiet town.He drops dead.3 Fatal shots in his body,i see it with my binoculaurs.I had to do it.In the mean time,the other guy at the other firestation,had left his spot.I then come back in the 3rd floor,and see 2 guys are missing,now only 5 of us are left inside.They told me the 2 guys tried to climb the hospital in order to kill the bandits on top of it,they failed and met their death instead.We then decided we will just die cause these shots had so much agro,we had to kill around 50 zombies probably.We quickly regroupped in the ground floor,5 of us alive,one needed morphine and blood transfusion.We gave it to him,and started movign towards the powerplant firestation - upon leaving the offices,i throw a smoke grenade to make way for us to leave as quick as possible.We leave what was the last stand for some..We then meet up with 2 of the dead guys and 1 more who joined in the powerplant.We are now 7 guys.We regroup and plan to head north to Stary,while raiding deer stands and looking for crashed heli's on the way to stary... That was our story.That was our firefight.For some,that was the last stand.... P.S.This entire "siege" if you call it on us,took 1.30 hours.
