You most likely logged out while you were in shock, so yeah your going to have to burn a epi-pen every time you log in... i would advise setting up a tent then putting everything in there and respawn.

so what you want weapons everywhere? anyways tin cans have their use.... break hospital windows without making noise.... also glass bottles have a purpose also, make the zombies run towards where your throw them.

yeah they took out the makarov spawn, because you could run into a person with nice stuff and kill them for their loot, its more of an attempt to get people to work together. try to run for a barn if you pull aggro, and either lose them in their, or find a gun and shoot your way out.

hmm... were you in shock last time your were playing? did you get shot? did you make the mistake of opening a door (they're out to get you) or anything like that? if your unconscious then you can ask someone in your group to give you an epi-pen.

i have been shot after giving someone morphine and a blood transfusion, i would prefer to stay alive, and not risk getting shot :/ have your been traveling solo, or with a group?

ah, i have an epi-pen... i could wake you up, but im concerned about you shooting me... you can ask a friend to give you an epi-pen and it should wake you back up... i believe they put this in so it would stop server hoping, or like ALT+F4 when you get shot or something. not sure though but your not the first to have this problem.

It's a mod for a game... also its in the Alpha stage so bugs are going to be common, you didn't pay for DayZ you paid for Arma 2. Regardless if you intended to only play DayZ, you gave your money to Arma 2. Like i said its an Alpha so the servers, and such are going to be buggy, just be glad that its a public alpha test, as to a closed Alpha test.

yeah you should have avoided the servers while they were being DDOSed, its likely the servers lagged out so bad that the servers saved your location there... only tip would be to find some matches, hatchet, and cows. then run back to your camp. i was in Gorka and i spawned in the hospital of Berezino, then just D/Cd for the night.

I think the servers are still being DDOS'd so its going to take a while until the kiddies stop. why is it so easy to get a 1000+ shell botnet, then take out a server just because you were cheating....

Go under Survivor HQ, and you should see a post called like "Need Help, Look here" or something like that made by Dr. Wasteland MD or someone like that.

The only thing i can say is that the game isnt updated well on the terms of new technology. you may see that a intel Q6660, and a 9800GT will run the game well, instead of a i7, and a 580... just the way the game was written... you can try a different server though, that seems to result in an increase of FPS.

buy a graphics card off of newegg... you really only need like a 6770 HD to play it really well... (Not the 7770 because it needs a 3.0 PCI-E)

yeah it sounds like your in shock, you can ask for help on the medic forum. make sure you know your coordinates, so they can help you faster.

honestly at my point, i have really good loot, like above, you saw a ghille suit with a m16.... so me right now im being protective... i shoot anyone who knows where i am, or if they are trying to look for me, or if they have a nice weapon that can kill fast... i dont kill them though i shoot their knees out, and run.

Actually instead of a 460 get a 560... i believe the new Nvidia cards came out and they are slightly faster than the 4xx series. and you can pick one up for cheap, check craigslist maybe a guy who is upgrading can give it to you for cheap!

if you have a Desktop you can try to overclock the processor, Also your 8800GT is pretty dated too, might want to think about switching that out. do you have any programs running the backround? if so, close them. the game is very CPU hungry.

Yeah it sounds like a problem with the actual DayZ servers, hopefully a mod or someone will see this and get it resolved, my only suggestion is to try multiple servers and hope that it will work. Oh wait i just thought of this... try going to the main menu where it says like "Single Player' and "Multiplayer" then go to "Player Profile" and create a new profile from there. thats all i got... lets hope a mod can see this and maybe get it sorted out. best of luck!

yeah its a problem with your internet, basically saying that you lost connection to the server and its been X amount of seconds since you got a transmission from the server. solutions to this would be : 1) to switch to a faster internet connection 2) Use a Ethernet Cable instead of Wifi 3) Connect to servers closer to your location (Sort by Ping) atleast thats what i came up with. some times this happens when the server resets also.

wait clarify the question again im confused... are you joining a server and it freezes at Creating Character/Recieving Data? if so the server is bad and try a different one. or if your asking why you joined a random server and your character resets and gets sent to the shore. then the answer to that is that its not properly connected to the main DayZ servers so you should disconnect and try a new one and you should still have your equipment. if i didnt answer your question, then im sorry im just kinda confused about what you asked.

i believe if you save it, it should be good, but after a week it may despawn.

do SHIFT + Crouch/Prone, i literally crouch walk/crawl into zombies and dont draw aggro. yeah its just going to take longer to get to your intended destination but its worth it :P or better yet if you have a pair of NVGs travel at night!
