Medic Austin

Still looking for the right group to play with. I do not want to play with dupers or hackers, so please do not message me or post here if you are either. I want to earn my gear, not be handed gear, or play with others that don't earn their gear honestly. Also, please make sure your (or yourself) is serious about DayZ player vs player interactions and banditry before you consider having me join. Do you still need medical help up in "that area" ? We've been updating our website and RMA system, and we finally have it working properly I think. If it is, you put in an RMA a little while ago. Do you still need such help?

I just wanted to share some info and give you my respect for not disconnecting. I was on a fresh spawn and was looting Cherno and on my way to the hospital when a group of 6 pursued me. I was trapped so I ran up into the building (The one which I sniped you from) since there was only one way up. There I found safe haven as they could not come up, unless it was one by one, which would allow me to pick them off easily. Please understand I wasn't camping there to kill you, I was camping there because I was stuck there for the time being. I wouldn't be surprised if you ran into that group at some point after or during our engagement. Anyway, I'd just like to give you my respect and beans for not Alt F4'ing. And to Cloggy, the m8 who got shot, you did some nice maneuvering to avoid being shot. I think you made me take 4 or 5 shots with that Lee Einfield to put you to rest, be it you were about 400 meters out, but nice job. And to the counter-sniper of the group, take your time, patience. I had no idea that you were near that building and could see me, and you rushed to take your shot, resulting in a miss (BARELY missed though ;) ). If you had taken your time, you would have killed me, I only had 4,000 blood during the whole encounter (and still do). TL;DR: You have my respect and beans for not disconnecting. I hope the next time I see you, it will be in a less hostile place, on less hostile terms. Maybe I'll be saving you or something :) Cheers, Austin

Try this: Look at the screen tearing/artifacts and type the following: Hold Left Shift and then press "-" (Minus symbol on your numpad) Then release shift, you should not be pressing/holding any buttons now Type in "flush" Your screen should turn black and say FLUSH ACTIVATED 2 times, then "Receiving..." Cheers :) /e DONT DO THIS IF ZOMBIES ARE CHASING YOU! Only do it in a safe situation, it takes about 10 seconds.

Nature tends to lead towards entropy, if you or Rocket happened to forget. Cutting one's self from the populace? I'm pretty sure that's natural too. In real life, if you don't like the people you live around, you move. If you don't like the country you live, you move. Think about how the countries rapidly began popping up and empires started taking over. Think about how the United Staes of America was formed. People didn't like where they were at, so they left the populace and did their own thing. Nature always leans towards entropy, get used to it.

M24 - By far the superior non 50 cal sniper rifle in the game. The ammo is equally as common as DMR ammo (Seeing as how 20 Round DMR ammo splits into four 5x M24 Rounds) and it boasts zeroing capability. Who needs a built in rangefinder? You can use mildots to rangefind, or use a rangefinder in game. The only advantage of an SVD Camo is the "Camo" portion. The M24 is sleak and green anyway. Camo enough for me. And besides, as a sniper, I don't need my gun to be camo'd. By the time a sniper even takes a slight glance at me, he'll be dead, and that's if he even gets a glance.

Start searching for a Heli. Once you have one of those, you never run out of things to do. ;)

In that "realistic" sense; how would a gun's damage change randomly in real life? Touche sir, touche.

If you have some ammunition for it, I'll trade a pair of NVG and a GPS for it. I only have 1 GPS though, not two, sorry

Thanks for understanding my frustration, and I hope you didn't take it in the wrong way (it doesn't sound like you did) :) That's part of DayZ though (and real life), there will always be people who try to take advantage of you, and you have to find a way to evade or deal with those individuals. I hope in the future, if you decide to be a helpful community member once more, that you are blessed with more gracious and delightful people as I have been, it truly makes being a medic a wonderful thing. Not to say I haven't been in dangerous situations before, but the gracious delightful individuals far outweigh the negative ones, and that makes me (and many others) enjoy being a medic. If you're going to spew words out into space, have something to back it up. Find 3 instances where a current white-list member has shot and killed someone who they were supposed to be saving. People like you calling us unresponsive, unreliable, etc, you make it seem like we have every minute of everyday to tend to your needs. We aren't paid to do this, we have lives outside of DayZ (We have jobs, family responsibilities, etc) and we would like to play the game once in awhile as well. All that aside, when someone requests assistance (I'll speak on behalf of RMG) we drop everything and start forming a group to be sent off to aid said individual. If you're speaking from experiene about the medical squad(s) being so unresponsive and unreliable, I can tell you right now you did not submit and RMA form to RMG. I'm an admin and have every request since mid June, and you're not on there. So either you're talking out of your ass and not backing your argument up with proof and evidence, or you had a "not so positive" experience (or lack there of) with one medic, and decide to bash the entire organization because of it. Please enlighten me with the basis of your frustration towards Dr Wasteland MD's list/organization.

First of all, the Dr wasteland MD team is rarely "unresponsive". There is a list of over 25 medics/groups - You did NOT try them all, or else I would of heard/responded to your case. Secondly, since when is anyone been known to kill others? There is a whitelist for a reason, a whitelist ran by a repuatable community oriented individual who keeps the list up-to-date with the most trustworthy people known in Chernarus. Who are you to compete with such a repuatable and trustworthy individual, let alone take shots at him without an ounce of evidence. Your empty and false words dumbfound me, especially after your post about getting 10 kills in 7 minutes (Found here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/43549-10-murders-in-7-minutes/ ) You PvP with the same account you do med help with? You bash the most well known and positively rep'd medical service in Chernarus? You expect people to trust you? I don't know who you think is going to fall for this gig, all I can say is, get your facts straight before you go messing with the wrong people. Dr Wasteland MD's thread is to better this community, don't try to float rumors and gossip of lies and false information.

It's amazing to hear all the stories of such heroic medics and gracious survivors. This is why I'm proud to be a medic (and support) for the team RMG. I think I can speak on behalf of all medics that such gracious and thankful attitude and these wonderful stories are what keep us going, it puts a smile on our face. Cheers, Austin
