Well, fortunately there is. If those things didn't exist, I'm sure games would be implementing them themselves. But they aren't necessary to include in a game since they do exist. Your argument is invalid. Please explain how the tools are not provided? You want bandits to have consequences? Grab a weapon and kill him. Don't make the game do it for you. You want some endgame content? Grab a group of guys and raid an airfield, a town, a city. You will most definitely get in a firefight. Form a camp with your newly acquired fortunes. Join a medic group and wonder Chernarus helping people stay alive for one more day. What else do you expect out of a zombie apocalypse?

You want consequences for bandits? Kill them. The game doesn't punish bandits, you do. You want endgame? Join a clan and run some missions with them, such as raiding the airfield or Cherno or something. Join a medic team and respond to people's cries for help. If you've created all these missions, then implement them into DayZ. They don't have to be coded into the game, just make them up in your mind. This game gives you the tools to create your own story, your own endgame. You just have to know how to use those tools.

There is a benefit to your surviving longer. You get better as a person; your character doesn't change at all, but you're skills as a player become more refined and enhanced.

I just invested in a new gaming computer. DayZ has definitely got me into PC gaming, and I found this sucker for very cheap, I think. Then again, I am no computer expert. Sure thing! The item is in my neighboring state, so it should arrive very fast! I don't play Arma 2 free. And yes, when seeing if my brother's system could handle Arma 2, I tried Arma 2 free. It handled Arma 2 free very easily with everything on high, but it is very choppy with everything on high on the paid Arma 2. I have an Xbox for future games, I am buying this PC to play a few games that aren't for consoles. I don't plan on playing the newest games on my PC.

How right you are. It is very surprising to see how a video game of all things most accurately reflects one's personality. This game is more of a social experiment rather than a zombie survival game.

Right now I play DayZ on my brother's computer while I wait for my own gaming computer to arrive. I play on my own Steam account with my own Arma 2: CO. When I play on my own computer, again with my own Steam and my own Arma 2: CO, will my character from my brother's computer be there?

I need assistance. My food icon is blinking red. Before I logged out last night, I ate a can of pasta to fix that. But when I logged in my food icon was still blinking and my can of pasta was gone. I am north of Vybor (http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/134/module_appform/full/54145.jpg somewhere in that area). I would prefer multiple cooked meats, as I need only 1 to get back to 12k blood and a few more to save for later. Thanks! -

1) No global chat. I believe that removal of the side chat greatly affected communication, which lead to more KoS. Re-adding side chat in radio form is a great idea. 2) Disconnecting/Alt+F4. I believe that bandits don't even bother to rob players anymore because of this. They just kill the player whenever they see one, rather than trying to make contact and giving them the option to keep their life. Where is the resolution that rocket claims was so easy to come up with? I see the thread in the Announcements section, but I don't see any changes being made regarding this. Anything else you can think of?
