Yeah, if by "fully equip" you mean a few cans of food/soda, a Makarov, a watch, hatchet, maybe a Czech backpack, and if you're really lucky and nobody's been to the nearby deer stands or fire stations, you might score an AK. Otherwise, you're spending an hour just running to the NW airfield and hoping you're lucky enough to see a helicopter crash along the way...

There seems to be a plethora of servers that don't display their timezone in their title, and don't use the one a person would expect (example, Seattle servers running GMT+5 instead of -8). This can be aggravating as, during an afternoon, I might log into several servers that are physically located within my time zone before finding one that is actually running the same time, because the naming convention does not seem to be widely enforced. I'm not requesting this for the purposes of loot hopping or avoiding night time (sometimes I prefer it, depending on my goals) but merely to make it easier to filter and select servers.

Or UTC, doesn't matter any to me...

Anyone know what happened to all the Seattle servers? I had "Seattle" set as a filter and there were probably a couple hundred earlier this afternoon, now the list is only about two dozen and the one I was playing on is gone.

So, in other words, our current societal norms and rules are the only thing keeping you from killing people simply because they might have something you want, and if those rules vanished, you'd go full butcher just for shits and giggles? You have no sense of empathy for your fellow man, no "we're all in this together" feeling of camaraderie? I'm not disagreeing with the whole "kill or be killed" concept; in a post-apocalyptic world I'd be likely to shoot first, ask questions later if I were surprised by an armed person stumbling across me, but that's really a completely different ball game from sniping everyone you see from the hills or even killing people for their loot, especially if you already have your survival essentials.

It's pretty easy to avoid 90% of player kills. Stay the fuck out of Cherno and Elektro, or at the very least, only go at night. There's perfectly good loot I haven't been killed by a bandit in at least a couple dozen hours of play time.

Super frustrating because I can get onto some servers, but not the one I was on prior to the patch, where I was driving down the road in my car and then the server went down to update. Guarantee it's long gone by the time I get back in...
