Yeah, haha, just did that and got the account back. The emails from November were missing so I figured I must have gotten spammed and deleted them so I said that I forgot my account name, typed in my email, and continued like that until I got my account back. Thanks Alot! You sir have my beans

Well, to make a long story short, My CD key was literally randomly banned one day, I appealed and got my cd key back about 3 days later. (No lie) Then, I created a new steam account and placed the cd key that they gave me onto the steam account. There's one problem though, and I'm sure you know where this is leading by the title, I forgot the steam account username and password. For a while, my computer's fan was broken so today, I got my new computer and was trying to install DayZ when I remembered this however, on my old laptop I have the cd key for both arma 2 and oa written in a text document. I wanted to know if there was any way to go about playing DayZ without having to buy DayZ. Best Regards, Dante

Now that I think of it, I installed a mod a while back, ill check to see if it's in the addons folder. thanks for the suggestion EDIT: Solved, found a hidden mod in my addons folder, it was one file. lol something so simple, it kind of makes me mad. Thanks alot for the help, I appreciate it.

Hello everyone, I have recently had this issue where every-time I try to join a server, I get kicked out and am given these words "Set Variable Restriction #0"It's my first time I have played in a while but before playing, I made sure everything was up to date. So I could not figure out what this meant, I was wondering if it was some kind of command my client was sending out or something as soon as I join but honestly, I have no clue at all. If anyone knows what this means, it would be very much appreciated if you told me what it meant and how to fix it. Best Regards, Scooter

I sort of agree, every server I join everyone but one player is shooting on sight besides a selected few. (usually one or two)

I'm pretty sure if you summed up everything he has done and provided some evidence, you could easily get him banned from the forums for a bit.

-Why would you like to join: Whenever I get good supplies in DayZ I ended up dying not much later on by a group of bandits, I normally do not die by a single person but, a whole entire group. I have seen servers where a group has most of the good supplies in a server and they take care of bandits or baddies, I want a group kind of like that. Okay, thanks for the reply, I will try that. EDIT; It seems that even normal servers freeze. Im wondering if I should try updating the oa patch and try updating battleye once again.

I also noticed something weird that's been going on for a while now, DayZ Commander will not update to the latest patch but instead it updates to the patch before that. (picture here) I have updated my drivers already as they were not updated and it did fix alot but not what I needed. It's not a heating problem because I put a fan on it and let it cool down for hours, it was not hot at all yet it still froze. I tried updating my BattleEye client a few weeks ago and it allowed me to play normal DayZ but not any other maps but unfortunately, now it's back to where I can't join any map at all. I'm 14 I'm from the USA I live in Mountain Standard time (a one to two hour difference I believe) Been playing since around march two years ago. Good Helicopter Pilot Good Sniper Good in maintaining gear. Great in Combat Have a mic Have a laggy computer (but I turn my video settings down so it's all good.) Can't play on any more maps than Chernarus for now, because my DayZ commander is installing my maps into the wrong folder, once I figure all of that out, I can play plenty of maps.
