I don't trust people at all, I've been killed many times, sometimes after respawning when I had nothing on me, just for the pure enjoyment of killing someone, these grim murders have turned me into a bloodlusty beast, I swore to kill everyone I come across at all costs, no matter the circumstances. I'm leaving my anger out on the community and therefore have my revenge in some way.

He was just implying that he's having the same issue and wishes for it to be fixed too. For the problem you're having I sadly don't know a fix for that.

I take it you don't own the game on Steam? Usually you'd navigate to your Operation Arrowhead Install Directory and doubleclick the corresponding .exe file

Battle-Eye has always been shit, now that ArmA 2 has become so popular due to DayZ the amount of hackers increased rapidly. Before that only Mil-Sim fans played ArmA 2 and the community back then for it was quite serious and in some way, full of honour, hacking was despised and there weren't a lot of hackers back then, almost none if I remember from my play sessions. But popularity attracts the worst kind of people I believe...

I wish I could punch you in the face for every single goddamn time you posted "it's alpha" in these forums, this shitty glitch has been in the Mod for weeks now, if what rocket said is true it should be easy as shit to fix, it's not even though the patchnotes stated it. That doesn't work all the time, I usually turn V-Sync on/off again and I might get lucky. What does work all the time though is restarting the game.

I have known about this for years now but anyway, good find, I don't think a lot of people know of it. As far as I remember that Santa was also in chimneys back in operation flashpoint.

I'm not all too sure, flushing makes it worse for me however, best bet is to either restart the game or you can try turning Vsync off/on and then switch it on/off again. Works for me sometimes.

Exact same thing happened to my group on DE #500, We were 7 people and without a sound we started dropping like flies to sniper bullets, no gunshots or everything, just headshots, I think I did see smokepuffs infront of us though, maybe a silenced handgun used in CQC by a hacker with some sort of invisibility, We were all in random locations throughout the camp and he managed to get us all in ~10 seconds, giving each one of us a shot to the head.

Hacking is totally going to kill this game, sooner than later. I take it Battle-Eye wasn't made to handle such things in the first place, cheating in ArmA 2 is as easy as opening a console and typing in what you want (it really is as easy as that). The last 6 Attempts of me playing DayZ have ended in all of my group members being killed, telported, turned into animals or whatnot, and as far as I remember, there's nothing Rocket can do about it unless his game goes standalone which might be Christmas or probably later. I hope for the sake of anyone playing this that hacking will be sorted out, DayZ is currently a prime example of a game being hacked, I've never before seen so many hackers in a game, ever. Not even in All Points Bulletin under Realtime Worlds banner.

I once found a corpse of 2 players in a Supermarket in Zelenogorsk, they probably both killed each other at the same time, found NVG's, Rangefinders, Coyote backpack and some Helo-Crash Weapons on them. I wouldn't mind finding a Mk48 though..

Hacked in for sure, I'd blow up the tractor or something so people don't catch you with it and mistake you for the hacker. As long as their not in your inventory you're safe from Battle-Eye but you never know when the Server Admin hits you.

hackers probably, I never heard of the AS50 AWS being in DayZ, they either hacked it in or got it from hackers. If you got their names, do report them.

Those 10 people I killed yesterday would like to have a word with you... :D nah, just kidding, true, killing is getting out of hand, but nothing much we can do about it, people get attached to their gear and the zombies are... well, more of an annoyance than a fear inducing enemy so people turn to fun things, that is killing everyone they come across... you can in my sig that I've joined those ranks..

You were lucky, most Swamp Monsters I've seen yet usually pull the trigger first. Just a few days ago I ran into the Supermarket in Vybor and a guy was sitting in the corner hiding from the rain outside. I ran inside to take cover from the rain as well, I saw him and said "Oh.. hey there" over voip, he flipped and started firing at me like crazy with his glock, luckily I had my M249... I'm sad that this guy chose to fight and got killed by my hand in the process while I could've lend him some heatpack to warm up and share food.

Agree wholeheartedly, my group of 7 lost a camp with ~10 tents, hacker spawned in, killed all of us and destroyed the base. Weeks of hard scavenging work and looting. This happened 3 times already, there's no reason to set up a camp or do anything else, it's like you can only resort to going deathmatch somewhere as all that takes more than 1-3h of work is going to get destroyed by a hacker anyway. Battle-Eye really needs to improve the detection, it seems to take hours if not days/weeks for bans to take effect.

I'm sorry for what you're experiencing but the DayZ community literally went down the drain (some good examples are posts above this), it's kill or be killed. Servers without PvP are sadly against rockets god complex so sorry, no luck there. I'd reccomend going away from the coast as fast as possible, grab only some food and water and nothing else, maybe even have a few friends play with you. On a sidenote, do not join full servers, in a 40/50 slot server you're bound to see another player sooner or later and I hate breaking it to you, they will kill you for the pure enjoyment of just killing.
