What the community is complaining about is not the pvp, because thats what drives the game, Its the useless killing of unarmed noobs who are no threat to you, I see you like useing real life examples OP so let me give you one. You have not spoken to anyone in 1 month, everyone you love or care about is dead and your lonely as fuck. You have enough food to feed yourself for a while. You come across another survivor who is unarmed and carrying nothing but painkillers. He says friendly. So your telling me in real life in that situation your going to WAIST your precious ammo, while AGGROING all the zeds to kill a man who was not a threat nor had anything useful. That, is what the community is complaining about

Arma 2 is not for everyone, I bought arma 2 a year before the release of dayz and loved most of the time, dayz has actually gotten me back to play regular arma 2. Actually many of my friends who bought arma 2 for dayz are currently playing arma 2

Lets make this clear You buy Arma 2, You pay for arma 2. Dayz is a bonus (and a good one) to arma 2 and rocket could end it tomorrow and there is nothing you could do about it. It is a free mod. Dayz is free, its arma 2 that costs money. Rocket owes nothing to nobody and could charge whatever he likes to his standalone game regardless who has arma 2.

easiest fix is that you stay ingame 60 seconds after you log out. This way you cant log out in a firefight and be safe, nope you logout in a firefight and its gg because the other guy has a whole minute to make you his personal bitch

The op is right in way, I'm taking a small break while a watch closely to see how dayz is forming. If I play i'm just going to end up raging at some stupid thing, which would be fine if you didnt waist so many hours of work. Don't get me wrong I love dayz and the pvp but at the moment there is way to much of it. Also to everyone saying that this is what would happened in the real world: If you have been scavenging alone for so long in whats left of world, you have not socialized or spoken to anyone in months and you come across an unarmed man who seems friendly. will you waist your precious ammo and alert all the zeds to kill him? Sure arma 2's engine is not the best but it goes well for dayz. Also out of my 4 friends who bought arma 2 for dayz 3/4 have stopped playing dayz to play regular arma 2 because they like it alot. And since you seem to know alot on engines name one that would work well for dayz

Funniest shit happened. Im in cherno in the grocery store when a guy in the room next to me sees me and tries to kill me with his makarov. i hide in the opposite room after trying to shoot him. we go on direc chat and this is the convo -you still there -yep -surprised you didnt alt f4 lke the rest of the world -same thought you disconnected -you know what I dont even want to kill you, people like you are so hard to come by - agreed friendly? -yes friendly We played for the next 2hours untill I had to go, I even forgot his name but wow, once in a blue moon you find someone like him

A new engine would be great but........... name an engine that has a map size of cherno where you could walk coast to coast with not one loading screen? people are comparing the map size to borderlands which is absurd

I took a small break from this mod, not because its bad but at the moment the playerbase is a little sad.I recently witnessed an unarmed man walk around in one of the coastal towns. He Saw a guy with a makarov and asked "hey kinda new how do you find weapons" to which the armed man said "you dont, u just die lol" and killed him really pathetic if you ask me and I have been seeing a lot of useless killing

I have been to green mountain 3 times and my friend 7 and only once has this strange thing happen to me. After reading some more post it looks like someone else had a similar story to mine up on green mountain. So now its even more interesting. someone should sticky this

Scarriest shit happend up on green mountain. So Im playing with 2 good friends of mine were doing pretty good, havent run into much trouble so we decide to scope green mountian. The population is around 25 and it is getting dark but there is still enough light to see. I have a lee, my friend has a revolver and my other friend had the DMR As were going up we see a couple of zombies everything is going good when all a sudden the stragest thing happends. I hear a gunshot from a lee and immediatly hit the dirt. All of a sudden teamspeak explodes with my friend yelling -FROST WTF YOU SHOT ME FOR NO REASON WHY?? -uhh? no I didnt shoot you where did you die? -YOU WERE AIMING AT ME FOR 30SECONDS THEN SHOT ME ****insert many swear words**** He finaly tells me where he died and as I go check the body with my remaining friend things get even worse. My friend looks a bit further and finds more bodies of other players, 2 to be exact. And what happends next is the scarriest shit ever. -frost theres more dead people -where? how many? -Theres 2 I'm just next to................ummm frost -yea? -Its yours -what? -its your body? your dead. Im like aint no way thats possible. I turn around and standing next to me is my friend ZoneZ He has the name ZoneZ so I know its him (also he was the only one with revolver). He has his revolver aiming right at me. I ask him on teamspeak why he is aiming at me and he says, Im not, im looting shit of the bodies. Next thing I know the man with my friend's name kills me and walks away. I rage on teamspeak and yell at him saying how retarted he is and he honestly says he was nowhere near me. I just remeber thats what happend to my other friend and that when I shit myself and tell him to disconnect. he is scared shitless but he says no, he wants to search my body. ZoneZ gets to my body and what does he see? My dead body is replaced by.................his body. He is currently looking at his dead self. Didnt take him long to disconnect. I will never know who killed my and my other friend or why we found our bodies before we died. This has shaken me up. Greenmontain is the scariest shit. Just note this is my third time being at green mountain, the first 2 times nothing unusual happend

Watched the vid, It gave me leporsy. The good news is that we will have a huge wave of people comnig in, sure the game will filter out the bad ones but we will still be left with a lot of good ones

I have seen this guy twice with a friend. Scared us so bad. We were playing on a night server (and you know how scary nights could be in the pitch black darkness) Were in cherno in one of the small towers looting the place. We have both our flash lights out and we are searching the building. All of sudden, my friend says FROST THERE IS SOMEONE AT THE DOOR. I turn around and its that white man at the door way just looking at us. I switch to my shotgun and my friend switches to his lee. Now we have no light except for our chem lights. The man just vanishes. We were both like wtf was that it had no gun or name. Anyway we decide to walk out the door where it was. Bare in mind that we have no lights, we both took our gun out because of how scared we were. We exit the house in pitch blackness and what happens next was the scariest thing that happened in any video game that I ever played. I decide to throw a flare. And what to I see not 2m in front of me? The white man just looking right at me. My friend shot 3 bullets into while I I disconnected for how scared I was. He didnt kill it, that man just vanished. He disconnected too scariest shit

No realism is more important. Just like when I break my leg for opening the door Just like taking some morphine to fix my leg Just like the way I switch universes to get away from dieing It will never be 100% realistic In my opinion realism < balance (but just my opion) I support the skins, but there are to many issues involved

OP: 10/10 amazing Idea perfect for this garbage hoppers we deal with. More then half of those opposing you are server hoppers themselves. One even disaggreed because he might press enter by mistake. While your idea may not be the best it is better then its current state.
