Bonecrusher (DayZ)

Well i joined another server.. and ive been playing for a while.. i am geared and everything, survived some few days now.. and when i joined this server i spawned at a place that looks like an empty field with no trees or buildings.. i cant see a thing.. Is there a fix for this? Thanks!
